Remarks

We can get admission to Vishwakarma government engineering college through ACPC counselling. In ACPC counselling there is a merit rank provided to you on basis of H.S.C result and GUJCET result. The cut-off for the open category is around 1500 to 1600. And for the Obc category, it's 2500 to 2700. And SC and ST category also available in it.

Course Curriculum Overview

I love to work with computers so, I decided to choose computer engineering. And in this course, you will learn about the basics of computer language, data structure and web development and much more. All faculty members are qualified and also I got good teaching experience from them. There are two main exams mid sem and end sem.

Class Size: 67Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are lots of fresh start-ups which provide good internship opportunities to students and helped them to achieve good skills in their life. Students learn data management, and web development (Front end and backend). Students also learn about data analysis machine learning and AI.

Placement Experience

In my college overall placement is really very good and some of the brilliant students also got 8 to 10 LPA on-campus packages, around 70 to 80 percentage students got placed in campus interviews. There are many companies like TCS, BYJUS, TECH MAHINDRA, INFOSYS, HCL etc.. come for a placement interview.

Fees and Financial Aid

It is a government college so the course fee is not much high. It is around 1500 to 2000 per semester and end semester examination fees are around 700 to 1000 so, we can say that the total fees we need to pay per semester are around 3000 rs.

Campus Life

In my college, there are not lots of tech fests organised. On campus, there is a big library where we can find all books related to our syllabus (Reference books) and also other books. There are many clubs in my college such as the sports club, drama club, environment club etc.

PDEU , a Sweet n' Sour experience

Likes

The campus is really well built and has good classrooms with air conditioners in every class ensuring student comfort.in
Decent facilities for extra curricular activities like sports and metro connectivity as well.

Dislikes

Same old rigid curriculum that is still being taught in Tier 3 engineering colleges through out the country
Some of the faculty even though they may be knowledgeable themselves, fail to deliver their thoughts in an efficient way to the students
Attendance criteria is relatively strict at around 80% on paper but you can still do with 70+ percentage.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th Semester and companies start visiting at that time. The no. of companies that visit are around 30+ and the highest package offered last time was around 25+ LPA. The average package is 7-8LPA. Some of the companies that visit are Accenture,TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan(students got placed from a Hackathon)

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,
