Remarks

Management is ok ok. But sometimes it's horrible. Once we got our hall tickets on the day of lab external during lab.

Entrance Preview

I took Comedk and my score was 95 I took this college bcoz at that moment this was the best college that I could have got... But I did not know about campus it is very small.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

BNMIT comes under VTU. So whatever course is planed by VTU college have to follow that... And syllabus is very old and it does not meet the needs of today's technology... But BNMIT provides side classes apart from course syllabus that helps a bit to stand apart.

Internships Opportunities

NO NO NO... BNMIT does not provide any internship. And if you want to do internship outside they won't support you, like if you have attendance shortage they won't help you. If you want attendance you have to write assignment at the time of lab internals and externals.

Placement Experience

3

Placement is just above average. There are very few companies which come for recruitment. And at last most of the students will be placed in bulk like in Infosys, Accenture and cognizant at 3 - 3.5L per annum. There will be hardly 10-15 students who get placed in such companies which gives salary more than 6-7L per annum.

College Events

1

In even sem we get college fest. But it's not that great. If I tell me experience, I attended only in the second sem after that I didn't attend any fest. So from this I guess you might have got the idea about college fest. And we also have ethnic day in even sem only. Ethnic day is bit better than college fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As per the placements and infrastructure of the college it is expensive. But if we take the location of the college, it is situated in the heart of the Bangalore it is feasible. College do provide option of paying fee in instalments. But for this you need to take permission from director.

Fees and Financial Aid

Only CET people can have scholarship. There is no scholarship for COMEDK students. CET people get 16-18k scholarship on their college fee.

Campus Life

1

Campus life is not that good. Mobile phones are not allowed. If director or any high level management executive find you using mobile they will take your phone and wouldn't return it until you call your parents. There is a dress code. If you don't follow it they will take your ID card. And if boy and girl talking to each other than thn they think there might be something wrong between them.

Hostel Facilities

1

Hostel facilities are good and hygienic. But the food is worst. And limited. Like you can't have more than 3 rotis. And once there was a cockroach in daal. Boys hostel is 4Km away from the college. They do provide bus from college to hostel. There is a time limit that you have to come to hostel before 8pm. Girls hostel is in campus only. And for girls it 7pm.

Alumni/Alumna

No there is nothing like you can connect with alumni. If you have your own contacts with any of the alumni than only its possible to connect with them.

Exam Structure

BNMIT provides 3 theory internals and 2 lab internals. And as per my opinion it is sufficient for getting good internal marks. And if you are going for VTU fest then BNMIT provides extra internals for you if you don't get average of 15 out of 25 in internals.

Admission

I get into this college through Comedk. After taking COMEDK you will have to attend counciling. And there based on the availability of seats you have to select 3 colleges and branch of your interest. And out of those 3 college you will get admission to that particular college.

Faculty

2

Some teachers are good.. and most of the teachers themselves don't know what they are teaching. In BNMIT they experiment teachers with students. They ask teachers to teach subject out of there specialization. Ultimately we have to prepare on our own for exams. But there are teachers who teaches very well and they clear your doubt very well and also help in other activities like projects and all.

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.
