Remarks

I did my diploma in computer engineering and then I applied for CAP rounds, my friend told me about the institution, the institution gives 100% placement, campus, canteen, supportive teaching staff, and meets all the required things to students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members are excellent; some of them are gold medalists from Amravati Autonomous. Students are time to time motivated by them. The Head of the department is always ready to take part in inspiring students and make them fearless towards stage daring and share their thoughts.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 95000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunity is given to students by college In tech-Mahi, tulip software, Wipro, cognizant, and Accenture. Some companies pay Rs. 15000- 20000 stipend along with other facilities, many students are taking these opportunities

Placement Experience

In the seventh semester, students are eligible for the campus bachelor's of engineering, campus placement facilities are very well organized by the training and placement department. Every student can participate there. It will be offered to the student who is from other colleges

Fees and Financial Aid

The chairman Shri PravinBhau Pote Patil is very emotional towards poor students and they pay fees by their accounts. And there are many ways to deposit fees like you can deposit fees by one time, installments, there is no prohibition to the student who is not able to pay fees to the college

Campus Life

The Library of the college is full of books like reference books, newspapers, technical magazines, and journals published by experts. Extra curricular activities like sports and cultural programs are done for 15 days, and every student can participate there.

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

Beginning of new journey

The Admission worries were many in the beginning. I wanted to get Admission to Computer Science & Engineering branch only. When I heard about P R Pote Patil College of Engineering & Management, Amravati, I discussed it with my parents and visited the college's website. The application form for admission is available on the college website along with the Fees. The admission schedule is displayed regularly. The eligibility was normal 12 passes with min. 50% and MH-CET entrance non-zero scores. The college follows all regular reservations as per government rules. The admission process is hassle-free with the college. Needy students are supported sometimes by the management. Other branches are also good in the college but as I scored well in the MH CET I took admitted to Computer Science and Engineering Branch.
