Remarks

For admission to Icfai University Tripura, you apply online as well as offline. For Entrance, there was an exam called TPJEE. For B.Tech course eligibility you need 60% in physics, chemistry, and mathematics. If u r ST/SC you got a reservation and relaxation in the cut-off.

I choose this course because I want to become a software engineer. Faculties are good and some faculties are really very good. Most of the faculties are doctorates and some r assistant professors and lecturers are also there. Exams are from time to time and passing the exam all depends on students though it is not so hard and not so easy to pass exams.

Many internships are conducted and you get a chance to work with Tripura development projects as an intern and many startups give students a chance to work with them as an intern. Sometimes some companies give stipends to them.

For placements last year students i.e, 4th year (7th and 8th semester) students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies visited here like Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Technomate, and sometimes amazon. 70-75% of students get placements.

As compared to other colleges fee structures are reliable. Many scholarships are there also through which students give their own fees. Most of the students got on-campus placement. Authorities are really good

Campus Life

For freshers, there is a fest called Novatos which is conducted in the month of November. And there is another fest called ICARI which is one of the biggest fests in the North-East and is conducted in the month of January or February. All kinds of books are available in the library. Many sports are there like football, cricket, chess, volleyball, basketball, badminton and many more. Many social groups are also there.

Hostel Facilities

There are two kinds of rooms available in the hostel one is a dorm room and another is a 2-bed sharing room. Facilities are okay not so good not so bad. Meals are the worst of worst. You can register for a hostel when you take admission. You can get many rooms for rent and the market is also there.

Hostel Fee: INR 52000 per year

This course is related to my passion on chemical or Metarialestic field. Here is good placement in this branch. Faculty members are mainly phd scholars in 1st year with little more professors. Student ratio is 7:3 boys girls ratio. Mid term exam was little bit tough which is different from school level exams or other exams.

I chose this colleges because it is one of the best colleges. This collage is located less then 75 km from my house. It is not that far because i live in the hostel of this collage. I haven't applied to any collage before so i haven't had any problems geting accepted from other colleges. This is my frist colleage that i havee attended.
