The admission process to get admission to Indira Gandhi University, Meerpur is very simple. if you want to take admitted to BTech CSE in this university then you have to pass class 12th with minimum 60%marks and for sc/st 55%. Admission is done according to class 12th marks. You can apply online when an application to apply is available on the official website of the university (igu.ac.in). After applying for admission. University issue a list of students who can take admitted to the university. there two lists are issued by. University. if a student didn't get his/her name on the list then he/she has a chance to get admission if any seat has vacant. There is a special reservation for sc/st category students

Course Curriculum Overview

There is great faculty at this university. All teacher are well experienced and their teaching method is very modern and unique. They're are very clean and air conditioning labs. Teachers give their personal mentoring to each student individually. There is a weekly quiz competition organised by Department of CSE. Terms occur at regular intervals of time. syllabus of terms exam as per AICTE.Terms exams are a little bit difficult for those students who are not regular in class but if you are attending lectures regularly and making notes then the exam is a piece of cake.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for BTech computer science and engineering are very low as compared to other colleges and universities .for a first-year student fee is 52,000. Fees are paid at each semester's fees. Fees per semester are 26,000.there is a special concession for sc/st students .there is zero tuition fee for sc/st category students. There is also a state-level scholarship scheme for OBC category students. The scholarship is given to those OBC students who have good marks in college exams and have good behaviour on the campus

Campus Life

There are many cultural programs are organised on university campuses. Many famous personalities come in these programs. after the end of even semester annual fest is organised in the university. there is a very big library in the university there are thousands of books available in the college. Every book is in the good condition. There is a very good arrangement to sit in the library .there are 300 students who can sit in the library at a time. The library is full air conditioning. there is no sports ground in the university

NITKKR THE TRUTH

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester onwards students become eligible for college placement process and various companies visit the campus for process for internships or full time recruitment role. Around 200 companies have visited the campus in this placement season and many more are expected to visiti till April end month. Highest package was offered by Meesho which was 28LPA and other big tech companies like Amazon and Microsoft offer around 45LPA. Roles were SDE and AI ML engineer. Around 85% students have been placed in some branches and highest placement was recorded in CS branch I plan to get placement after the degree and normal corporate job.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students still for placements. Almost all major recruiters visit our campus like amazon, google, meesho, flipkart, JP Morgan , de shaw, wells Fargo, accenture, ibm, hsbc, nab, ey, amdocs, United airlines, sap labs, icici bank, tata , samsung, infosys, etc. almost 80-85% batch got placed in 2025 with avg. Package of 13-14 lpa. Highest package was 60-65 lpa approx. I want to pursue software job after my btech.

I don't get any intership till now so I can't add any comment.

Placement Experience:

Still it is new college you know that there is no certain records of placement. I am from 2nd batch of this college. But I would say it will provide enough good packages. In 2nd year you have to sit for internship as per the curriculum of this college. so out of 107 seniors, 85 students grabbed intership from the 2nd year. We hope we also be able to grab internship in 3rd year.

Enjoy your college life by managing your studies in efficient way

Placement Experience:

Almost 90 percent of the companies start taking placement colleges from the 7th semester onwards or till the end of the 8th semester in which all the students are placed. And if any student still remains, he applies for off-campus placement, then he also gets placed easily.

Don't join the college as they doesn't care about your career Faculty is bad and also doesn't have minimum experience and qualifications Teachers will change every semester or even teachers can leave the job in mid semester. If want a good career then don't go for it

Remarks:

Library is being provided by the college so that students can concentrate on their studies and can even study peacefully away from noise and disturbance.All kinds of books as per the requirement of the students are also found in the library.It is also air-conditioned so that the studnets do not face any sort of problem while their studying hours.

Entrance Preview:

Admission to this college was a easy procedure.I had to go though an interview and a group discussion round.It was quite easy as i have good communication skills which was an asset for me at that point of time.

I applied in Delhi University, MDU Rohtak, Kurukshetra University and IGU rewari. I got confirmed admission in MDU, KUK and IGU.
