Amity or fun

The admission process was pretty easy. First, you need to fill-up the form on amity.edu, then an online recording-based interview is conducted in which some open-ended questions are written and you have to answer them in 2 minutes maximum. You can find all the course-related details on amity.edu. The admission process was smooth, and no improvement needed from my point of view.

I chose this course as I am from an art background and want to join the booming IT sector, I can't join Btech or BSc(it) as I am from an art background, so the only option I am left with is BCA. Most of the faculty at the college are great but some of them are just the worst, most of the worst faculties are newly appointed, so it's not their fault, we just have to give them some time to adapt, otherwise, everything was nice. Students to faculty ratio were like 1:7 or 8. Nearly all the faculty teaching are at the Ph.D. level. For the BCA course, the exams are conducted 2 times per semester 1 is mid-term and another end-term examination, practicals, presentations, and projects are included.

Students are eligible for the placements from the fifth semester, most of the companies coming are mass recruiters like TCS, and good companies like Wipro also come but don't offer lots of offers, According to the 2018 record, no. Of students in BCA are 150 out of them 30 are placed, and 100 opted for higher studies, so if you are coming to amity, perform well. A suggestion for you guys, it is also my future plan, enroll for MCA from a reputed college like NIT's for that you need to give a competitive examination i.e., NIMCET, you can prepare for it during the college time easily.

The fee structure is simple, you only need to pay the same amount it was told in the beginning, the cases in which your fee is hiked are 1.)If you are debarred(you have less than 75% attendance) in any subject, 1500 rs is charged for each subject you are debarred in. 2.)You chose any additional course which is paid during the semester change. There are various kinds of scholarships provided in amity, on the basis of your 12th percentage you can get 100%, 90%, or 75% scholarships, but to retain them you need to maintain a high CGPA otherwise it will lapse.

One thing in amity you don't need to worry about are the fests, Amity Youth fest is conducted yearly in the month of April or May, This year Amiphoria is happening on the 25th of June, in which Honey Singh is the chief guest. And many more unplanned fests are conducted in amity, so life at the campus is amazing. Our library is a gem, it's loaded with lots of books, magazines, and journals, feel free to study at any time, it is fully air-conditioned, has elevators and computers, and all sorts of amenities a library should have. The classroom condition vary from block to block, BCA was located in the I block and the classroom of I blocks are nice has projectors and an air conditioning system in each class, the seats are recliners and comfortable. So No problem with infrastructure.
