Remarks
I gave the exam of ipu set, which I cleared with 7000 ranks, then the counseling round of ipu started, for which I registered. I got GTBIT in my third counseling with the ECE branch. Then I freeze the seat by paying 40,000 and after this, I have to visit the college to complete the admission process and pay the rest fee there
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because it's a core branch. The whole curriculum is based on the ipu curriculum. The teacher and student ratio are good. The faculty are M .sc and Ph.D. The exam is taken in two ways, the first internal exams, and the second external exams. There are two semesters in a year. Students have to appear in both internal and external theory exams and practical exams. Exams are based on what we studied in the classroom and course. We have to study according to the syllabus to get good marks in exams.
Placement Experience
The placement in college is average. Most of the students are placed in IT sector companies with an average package of 4-5 lakh. For ECE and EEE core placement occurred. Companies like Amazon, etc, and Infosys visited our college for placement. I don't have an idea about the highest package of my year but I Know the average package. 50-60% of students are placed. I want to join govt sector.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is 116000 per year. In which University fee + tuition fee and other charges included. Students get scholarships given by the Delhi govt. The students who have ration cards get a 100% scholarship on tuition fees and the students whose family income is less than 5 lakh get a 50 % scholarship. And student having an income of more than 5 lakh gets a 25% scholarship. Also, some scholarships introduce to minority students. There is no internship opportunity given by the college, students have to apply on their own. Only off-campus, and on-campus opportunity notifications, are given to students, so if they are interested may do applying.
Campus Life
College life is not so interesting for me. As our college started . In the third sem the covid had came and we all have to take class online , so social and cultural activity not happened in our college for last 2 year . Before that our college organize science fest name GATE . It's organize every year but due to covid it's doesn't organized for last 2 years . Also our college is Sikh minority college so our college organize Langer and kirthan in a year . Where all faculty , staff and students sit together and have Prasad . Their are many society like natya , ieee , gdsc where you can join and do some creative work .
