Entrance Preview

I appeared for KEAM (Kerala Engineering and Medical Examination). I scored 101 and got a rank of 48645. Ofcourse I couldnt get an admission in any government college. so I joined Vimal Jyothi Engineering college(VJEC) which I can go and come by college bus

Internships Opportunities

VJEC does not provide any internship. VJEC management is wealthy enough to run the college. But it certainly doesnt have enough money to provide internship.

Placement Experience

Students achieved placement in various reputed companies through Campus Recruitment. Many IT and non-IT companies visit our college to select candidates.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very feasible while comparing to colleges outside ketala. VJEC asks for a caution deposit of Rs 100000 from every joining student which will be re granted. The tution fee is 75000 every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

College provides scholarahip for sc/st students and students who scored good marks in higher secondary exams and for students who got high ranks in the qualifiers. Most of the scholarahip students need not pay any money. Except for college bus or hostel rentals.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors and juniors are like friends as there is no ragging. It is a good atmosphere to study and all the events are hosted by juniors and seniors combinely. Alumni network is nit good. No activities are conducted.

Students are eligible for internship from final year. Last year students were offered internship at Litmus7. The average pack is 6Lakhs per anum the college assures that above 90% students will get placed, and they make sure to do everything they can to help us with it.

Placement cell of our institute is very enthusiastically framed and majority of the students are getting placed into renowned companies.So even me myself are putting a lot of effort and looking forward to get placed in a very good company. After getting my btech degree obviously I need a job through placement and side by side need to study data science related 3months course somewhere abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this college because of the recommendation of the facilities inside the college and I had an above-average experience at the college. The teachers are very friendly and kind. The student ratio is average since the benefit is that we get a spoon-feeding/tuition class experience. All the teachers here are having good qualifications, min of MTECH and above. There are 2 term exams about 2 hrs each. Exams are normally easy to pass.

Remarks:

Its pretty good there are many opportunities for the students to do their own research, develop their skills etc. The staff members are also very much supportive. Students can bring out their own projects and the management will put in 100% of their effort in in they will guide us in all ways.

I had applied for this course in several colleges in banglore and other places. The reason which hold me here is the course affordability and good infrastructure provided by this college. This college offers BTech artificial intelligence and Data Science at the rate of 98500 per year as tution fees while other colleges offer this same course around 200000 tution fee per year which is a better reason for studying this college. The college also provide scholarships for students on the basis of their plus two marks and keam ranks which will cover their entire tuition fee which helps the students to study in a cost effective way and also increase the quality of education.
