I got my admission through the Institute Level Rounds. The process was very smooth. I had to fill out their ILS form first. The form can be obtained from their office. There are multiple ILS rounds that are held and each time the cut-off changes. I didn't get my desired branch on the first attempt so I had to go for the second round. I got the IT branch in the second round and was satisfied. Many students got the chance to upgrade their branch from EXTC to IT and IT to Computers. According to me, the admission process is very smooth and the multiple ILS rounds are managed perfectly.

I was interested in Computers and IT so I selected the course which I got according to my entrance exam marks. Thadomal Shahani Engineering College comes under Mumbai University so we follow the MU's syllabus. The course curriculum is extensive, covering most of the latest technological advancements. The faculty at Thadomal Shahani is highly qualified with amazing teaching methods. The term exams are held on time as per the MU timetable with a decent difficulty level. The internal tests are designed in such a way that they help the students to score well in the final end-semester exams.

Many well-known companies come to college to provide internships. Companies like Oracle and JP Morgan Chase provide internships with a stipend of 50k per month. Deutsche Bank provides internships to students with a stipend of 75k per month. Students also get the chance to get Pre-Placement Offers from these companies.

TSEC ranks 15th in the list of placements of the top 70 private institutes in India. This year the highest package received was over 1 Cr and there were students who were placed in companies like Amazon, Myntra, and Trilogy with amazing packages over 30 Lacs. Apart from this, the college dance and drama teams have won prizes at national-level competitions held in IITs and IIMs. The college has many technical and cultural committees.
