My College Review

I got admission by clearing EAMCET. Then through counseling, I got admission to CMREC college in the mechanical department as I selected mechanical during counseling. I got a rank of around 47000 in EAMCET and according to counseling which includes rank cards and caste everything during the distribution of colleges I got admission in CMREC college.

As I was interested in automobiles, vehicles, and machines I want to study the working principles and processes of the machines I choose the mechanical department. Faculty in CMREC college of the mechanical department are very well skilled and have great knowledge in subjects, the way of explanation is excellent. For mechanical students, labs are very important and the way the faculty explains gives students interest in experiments. Faculties in our college have a ph.d and some have a doctorate also.

Our college will give permission to some comapnies or industries to visit and as the same students will have to find interships then they will give permission to students for internship in mechanical department only but where as other departments college will take initiate the internship programs. In mechanical department Some of the faculties will guide to get internship opurtunities.

Our college has separate staff or faculty for placements. These faculty will train students to face interviews from 3rd year which includes aptitude, self-introduction, group discussions, presentations about different topics by each student, communication skills, body language, way of dressing, etc, There are many companies around 40 will visit our college but for the mechanical department, there are 10 companies visited during my final year i.e, 2018 to 2019. In the mechanical department,, there is less percentage of getting placements compared to other departments in our college because of the lack of companies visiting is less when compared to other departments. The highest package is 12LPA and the average package is 2.5 LPA.

During my study period, college fees are 35000 and will be paid by the government as reambasement. For every two years fee hikes are implemented. These hikes are done either by government or by college management i dint know about that but fee are increasing regularly and at same time the environment of the college is also changing rapidly.

In our college, there will auto expo every year in which different companies related to automobiles will bring their latest and updated products or vehicles by which students can get more knowledge from them and students can clarify their doubts by this students gets clarity about the practical knowledge not only from books. There will be freshers day, traditional day, annual day, and farewell for final year students these are regular fests that give students to open up their minds and show their talent and there will be sports meet every year to support students. Our college consists of a big library in which each and every student can get books related to subjects of different authors not only one author, there will be books related to social knowledge, coding, ethical hacking, stories about astronauts, great philosophers, communication books and newspapers for general knowledge. Our classrooms have a large area with projectors and students can use laptops so that sockets have been there.
