The selection is based on marks obtained by an undergraduate. The seats were of two types merit-based and merit cum payment based. We can get all the information about the application through the official website. There are certain reservations for other University students, NCC, NSS and sports quotas. The admission will be held in the respective department by counselling process

Microbiology is one of the developing fields in life sciences. Faculty members are so experienced and have huge knowledge in the field. Each faculty member is specialized in specific topics. All the faculty members are PhD holders so they have immense knowledge about the subjects. Their teaching method is so effective. Approx every six months the sem exams will be conducted and every semester there will be two internals. The subject is not so difficult if studied well

For merit seats and reservation seats i.e., for specialized quotas like sports, NCC, NSS etc, the fees will be 12,900/- INR per annum. For merit cum payment seats the fees will be 34,900/- INR per annum. There is a state government scholarship provided to students i.e., SSP(post-matric)

There will be an annual fest conducted by the University named Sahyadri Utsava. That will be held for 4 days. In that, so many cultural activities are held and concerts will be arranged. Kuvempu University has the best library and can get almost all books regarding academics and non-academic sections. The classrooms are spacious and are of smart class. The university has an indoor sports stadium and also an outdoor stadium. There are so many college accounts on Instagram run by students.

There are 5 girls hostel and 2 boys hostel there in campus each hostel are differ in facilities but the fees for every hostel is the same. In my hostels, there is an attached washroom in the room with 4 sharing a fan and tables. But some hostel room contains separate fan table, and wardrobe but not washroom like these facilities varies from hostel to hostel. The food menu also varies from hostel to hostel. The food quality and taste also differ in every hostel. Once the course admission is done in the department one should apply for a hostel also. The hostels are very affordable. They are a couple of PGs there outside the campus which will cost around 5000 and can get a room for rent also.
