Asansol Polytechnic is a reputed polytechnic ans it's my best college.

To admit in this course you have to completed first 10th standard with passing mark. And age is above 14 . First you have to filled a application form of Jexpo which is the entrance for polytechnic admission. This exam is held between may and june. Application fees was ?450 and for kanyashree it was ?250. There are many reservation benefits like SC, ST, District quota, Female quota and PWD quota.

This is a industry related course and a technical course. From technical course we have a chance some thing to discover. That's why I chose it. And the other cause is my passion. Student ration in my college is around 5:3 in almost every branch. Asansol Polytechnic's faculty member are very helpful and very knowledgeable. That's why I also chose it. They teach us very well. Every student get this advantage from backbenchers to brilliant. Exam is very tough almost. Every 6 months the semester exam are conducted and in addition to that class test is held.

Placement is very important for every technical College. This college provides around 90% placement. Every student got placed in higher company including Ta ta, Ambuja, L&T etc. Average package they offer is around 1.8 LPA to 2.4 LPA.

Fees are following: Admission fees:1300 Registration:200 1st Sem Exam form fillup: 230 So almost the fees is 1500 to 1800 every year. There are many opportunities to avail scholarship like Swami Vivekananda Means Cum Merit Scholarship, Oasis Scholarship, Kanyashree Scholarship, Aikyashree etc. All are available at this college.

Library is very well furnished and also classrooms too. All type of books including academic and non-academic are available on library. Campus life is smooth. Ragging is prohibited in this college. So our college is a ragging free campus.

To avail hostel facility you have to fill a application form that was filled after Addmission to college. Room quality is not so good. Only light, fan table and bed are available. In the window the sunglass are broken by previous student and the hostel superintendent have not noticed that. Meal are in very good quality and the Meal charge is around 1500 per months including cooks fee. But hostel life is very smooth and impressive.
