Entrance Preview

After 12th in 2012, there were some engineering entrance exams like AIEEE, IIT JEE, BITSAT, PET (for madhya pradesh students now aieee and pet both are demolished) through which I have to get higher studies. Well so I score 96 out of 200 in PET-2012 which makes me to choose OIST Bhopal. As that time OIST emerged as good college in Bhopal and I was residing in Bhopal. So I thought it will good to go there.

Course Curriculum Overview

As this college is affliated to RGPV so the course which RGPV throws in college have to follow it and now this year RGPV has improved its course quality which named as CBCS so that OIST will review it. My faculty was good till 3rd year bhut in last year dumb faculty.

Internships Opportunities

There is possibly no internship programme present in college itself and every student have to undergone training programme before last year. but whosoever wants to do internship they have to consult T&P and their own department coordinators. Well I have done my Summer training from ISM Dhanbad.

Fee is Feasible.

One thing that college should focus on is availability of scholarships there are hardly any scholarship available for the students.

You get inspire to take part in IIT's Techfest as here Techest are Cultural fest only. You will learn to do things distinctively. Librarians are good. Journals and magzines are available.The only student club which is not entirely run by students is NCC. College should encourage students to work upon something other than studies so that overall development can take place.

A pass at the 10+2 level from a recognized board in the country,i.e.state board/ISC/CBSE or the equivalent. Background in the science stream is preferred.
