Anybody can apply for this college and can get a scholarship If he/she got admission through PTU, you can fill out the admission form both offline and online, You can see the campus beforehand, Everything is good and nice, I prefer GCC because the teachers are very nice, and the classrooms are well made.
Course Curriculum Overview
Exams will hold three times per semester Mid-semester-1,2 and final exams, Mid-semester exams are 24 Marks and the average is taken of mid-semester-1 and 2nd, If you study hard the exams will be easy but it can be very hard if you don't study.
Internships Opportunities
You can apply for an internship in the first year of your course to gain some experience when companies visit the campus they have the image of the Ideal student whom they came to search for, for example, Microsoft wants the highly skilled student, Google and Amazon want highly creative and innovative students, companies offers many roles like database administrator, web developer, etc. Many projects can be given to students and students can register themselves for projects as well for experience on science day many students show their talents and creativity.
Placement Experience
From 6 semesters you are eligible for placements depending on your skill level you can get a job in your desired company, companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Wipro, etc other 350+ companies visit our campus every year, and students with high skill levels get early offers from good companies, the highest package offered is 40LPA and the average is 10-12LPA, 100% students get placements until the end of their course, I too am aiming for a big company like Microsoft or Google.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for every semester are the same for eg 45000 for BTech/semester and some examination fees are also there If you apply through Punjab Technical University you will get some scholarship and you can even apply for a scholarship through the NSP portal where you have many options to get scholarship according to your background.
Campus Life
There are many programs held every month and every year there is something unique for freshers in the fresher party, many more fest held every year tech fest is very good, Most of the books are available in the library and you can issue books of your choice for a limited time, sports like cricket, basketball and many more and curricular activities like dance, singing, coding fest held many time a year, There are many clubs in our college for example hack club, tech club, photogenic club, etc and you can join any club of your choice.
Hostel Facilities
There are 4 hostels for boys and 1 but a huge hostel for girls facilities like AC duct, cooler are there, you are given a bed, study table, chair, almirah in a room, food is pretty decent, and you even get dessert after dinner, Hostel Mess is open 4 times a day breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner, the registration process is easy you have to fill a form and you are given a hostel ID card and your room number, fees are 95000 a year for the hostel with cooler and a 4 seater and 110000 for the one with an AC duct which is a 3 seater and pretty nice, if you want a PG some are just available outside college which is pretty good and nice, Hostel Boys can roam around in campus until 10 PM meanwhile Hostel girls can roam around until 7 PM.
