IIT Goa Review

Completing a master's programme at an IIT is a goal for every student who aspires to be an engineer, and I was one of them. I am an average student with a 78% graduation rate. I was also successful in passing GATE. I wanted to complete my M.Tech from an IIT, so I chose IIT Goa because it is a new generation IIT, I met the cutoff criteria, and the placement is good by IIT standards. The admission form was completed online.

The curriculum is highly interactive and adaptable. The curriculum is intended to help us understand the fundamentals of engineering from beginner to advanced levels. The curriculum teaches us about system design, circuit design, electromagnetic rays, and other topics. The faculty are experts who assist us in thoroughly understanding the syllabus. The faculty is easily approachable whenever we have a question about a topic, and they also assist us. The college faculty is exceptional; they are extremely cooperative and assist us in understanding every concept of our topics.

The internship is compulsory Everyone in my class is required to attend the internship programme because it is required of all of us. However, anyone involved in any kind of research activity can avoid the internship by providing relevant documentation to the placement commute.

IIT Goa is a newer IIT, but the college places a strong emphasis on placement. The college placement adheres to all guidelines and standards, and the quality is comparable to that of the IITs. The college placement committee is very important because it is fully responsible for inviting companies for placement and is successful in inviting good companies to campus. Our batch's highest salary package was around 35 LPA, and the average salary package was around 12 LPA. During the placement drive, over 75 companies came to our campus.

Merit-cum-means scholarship, Free Messing, Fee Remission, and PMRF are some of the scholarships that our college provides.

The college's campus life is excellent. The college's infrastructure is well maintained, and the classrooms are excellent and well ventilated. Because the seniors are cooperative and friendly, no ragging rules are strictly enforced at the college. The library is excellent and houses many international books as well as international research journals. IIT Goa's campus is very active. Small competitions such as debate, quizzes, singing, and drama are organised by the college.

The hostel's infrastructure is in excellent condition. The rooms are available on a shared basis and are large and spacious. The hostel wardens and staff are extremely cooperative and friendly. The hostel mess food quality is adequate; management should prioritise it. Power and water are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The hostel's common room has chess, table tennis, carrom, and an LCD TV. The hostel has all of the basic and modern amenities that we require.
