IIT Goa Experiences

Completing a graduate program at an IIT is a goal for everyone who aspires to be an engineer, and I was one of them. I am also an average kid with a 78% graduation rate. I also was able to pass GATE, but my GATE scores did not match those of India's top IIT colleges. I wanted to finish my M.Tech from an IIT, so I chose IIT Goa because it is a new generation IIT, and I was capable of meeting the cutoff requirements and getting a good placement according to IIT standards.

Because the college is new, the curriculum is also updated and meets all industrial rules and regs and norms. The syllabus covers all aspects of computer technology, physics, and physical training. The faculty at the college has extremely high standards. The faculty at the college is of the highest calibre. The faculty assists us in every way possible and offers us a lot of guidance during assignments and special projects. The teaching staff of the university have finished their PhD. programmes from top universities in India, and their own research work is well known and has been published in numerous journals.

The internship program assists us in understanding the corporate world's working culture, and it provides us with an excellent opportunity to apply our understanding in a professional setting. To participate in an internship, we must first register with the college's placement committee, and the median income stipend for an internship program is around 45k.

In aspects of enrollment quality and packages, India's IITs are very good. IIT Goa is of the same caliber as IIT Delhi, and it offers some of the best recruitment opportunities in India. The college has a track history of 100% placement. The highest selection offer is approximately 47 LPA, and the average earnings package is approximately 18 LPA. The placement committee is constantly working to improve college placement standards.

Our college offers scholarships through schemes like Merit-cum-means scholarship, Free Messing For SC/ST, Fee Remission between 1 lakh to 5 lakh, and Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship.

The college's campus life is excellent. The college's infrastructure is well-maintained, and the classes are also excellent and well-ventilated. Because the seniors are collaborative and friendly, no ragging rules are strictly enforced at the college. The library is excellent and houses many international books, as well as international research journals. IIT Goa's campus is very active. Small contests like debate, quizzes, singing, and drama are organised by the college.

The hostel is beautifully designed. The accommodation rooms are indeed very nice and well-equipped. The spaces are very well crafted and do not feel dark even during the day. The hostel has athletic facilities and 24-hour water and power supply. The food at the hostel is delicious. The hostel wardens are very professional, and the staff is well-trained. The hostel security is on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is extremely strict.
