It is one of the prestigious public institutes, I consider myself lucky enough that I got a chance here. Their admission process is similar to other NITs and follows a common process as well. They basically took my ranking according to the JEE mains. Then in JOSAA counseling, I got admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
This full course is all about a deep understanding of computer programming, theory of computation, Data structure & algorithm, Database system, operating system, etc. Basically, I got an in-depth knowledge of computer engineering systems. We got an understanding of machine learning also. This course included lab work, seminars, and some workshops related to our topics.
Placement Experience
Microsoft, Oracle, Intel Corporation, Google, Larsen & Toubro, Flipkart, and Web Enthusiast Club were some of the brands who gave us the opportunity on the final placement program. The highest salary package offered was Rs.29.14L LPA and the average salary of Rs. 7.73 LPA. Although I didn’t participate in the placement program, I wanted to continue with my post-graduation and research.
Fees and Financial Aid
As this is a public institute, the academic cost is much more affordable. I spent The annual fee was Rs. 29100. We were charged administrative fees, maintenance fees, and hostel charges. mess or hostel charges were charged separately. I did not apply for any of the state or federally endorsed scholarships available to us.
Campus Life
We got several facilities on our campus. Whether is it a research facility, career development center, health care center, or library, it’s the 360-degree services we got. The sports facilities on our campus included sports games, indoor sports, outdoor sports, gyms, and a swimming pool. We also got the opportunity to engage ourselves in the different student activity clubs. I was an active member of the cultural club.
