Since I opted for B.Sc Computer Science Hons. I did not have to appear for any kind of entrance exam.Having Mathematics in your 12th and minimum percentage of 75 is the basic elegibility criteria for admission in B.Sc Computer Science Hons. in Coochbehar College.All the details regarding dates of registration and admission are regularly updated in the college website.
Course Curriculum Overview
Computer Science is the only subject i ever aspired for since i was a school student. Cooch College is the only college under CBPBU to have computer science as an honours subject and this was the only good reviewed college closest to my place , this two points was my reason for choosing this college.Faculty and student ratio is 1:10 . Faculty are very helpful and kind . Term exams are conducted every 6 months and the paper dificulty is not an issue because quality of the classes conducted is best.
Fees and Financial Aid
The semester fee is three thousand five hundred and the course duration is 3 years ,so the total course fee sums up around 25000 including all kind of fees. although the course fee is afordable, various government organised scholarship programms are available for student here.
Campus Life
Infastructure of the college is good enough . The library is huge and many books are easily available here . Incase any book is not available , after a request from students the college authority immidiately tries to avail the book. Various clubs like nature club, theatre club,music club,tech club are available for students to participate in.
