Remarks

Students should appear for NEET-UG, They should score above cutoff marks. State governments prepare a merit list and based on the merit list they conduct counselling at the state level. All India counselling is conducted online. The application form is available at the college. For admission, they give a specific date on which we have to present to the college all the relevant documents. Reservation is given to students of ST, OBC, SC, EWS, and PD Categories.

I choose this course because I want to be a neurologist. My class has approximately 150 students belonging to different parts of Assam and India. Students' faculty ratio is 30:1. All the faculty are well experienced. They take our theory classes in the lecture hall and clinical classes in the hospital. College authorities conduct test exams every month and universities conduct the final exams in the month of March. Test exams are more difficult compared to final exams.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 27000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Admission fees are around 27k per year. Mess dues are around 3k per month. The cost of books is around 25k and the cost of uniforms is around 10k. Overall fees are affordable for all category students. We get scholarships worth 40k per year from the government of India under the National scholarship portal. Also, every student gets paid 30k per month during the internship period.

Campus Life

The annual fest of our college is conducted during the month of November. A famous singer from Bollywood comes to celebrate during the fest. Many of the students are involved in social clubs like the AIDS club, and local sports club. I am personally involved in NMO India. Our library is located in a peaceful place, and almost all medical books are easily available in the library.

Hostel Facilities

I stay in hostel number 3. The hostel is clean, we have both double bedrooms and single bedrooms. There is no shortage of water and electricity problems. Meals are provided 3 times a day in the mess along with morning and evening snacks. The hostel is allotted from the college based on the distance of the student's hometown college. Nearby rooms and PG are easily available but rooms are somewhat dirty and costly.

Placement Experience:

After the completion of 5 year course of MBBS college itself provide the placement to every student. The highest package is about 40000 per month but the average package is about 33000 per month. About 99% students get their placement easily. I'm also thinking to get placement after completing my MBBS degree.

Placement Experience:

On campus placements are there . We have to do our internship in tmch itself . After that one year of rural bond is compulsory . The stipned during internship is highest as compared to other state which is around 40k/month.

Placement Experience:

After completing MBBS course and 1 year internship one gets placement. Not companies but in hospital it gets placement The highest package is 12lpa as I know and on average 6lpa 100 percent student gets placement I want to pursue PG degree or civil services

Life at AMCH

I applied for Gauhati medical College, Guwahati and Assam medical College, Dibrugarh and Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College, Barpeta and all the other medical Colleges of Assam. Average college, but it's a government medical College!

I had applied to 12 other medical Colleges in Assam during the choice filling of counselling. My first preference was GMCH as it is where o reside but couldn't make there due to the cut off. I chose this college as it was at a distance of three hours from my home and near compared to all the other medical Colleges in Assam. The admission process for MBBS is you have to qualify neet exam conducted by NTA. To appear in neet you have a mandatory subject of physics chemistry and biology in the higher secondary and your minimum age criteria is 17 years. This exam is conducted once per year and also there is reservation criteria for other backward classes schedule caste and scheduled Tribes etc. After the declaration of the result there is counselling process which is online and conducted by MCC.
