Remarks
Eligibility for the BSc(mathematics) course is to get a 50% aggregate in physics, chemistry, and mathematics in class 12. From 2021 before application form will be available online. but now NTA conducts this examination along with 40 other central universities application form is provided on NTA's official website application fees are 600 for each course and application forms are available from April month to may, the examination will end in mid-May to June month. Reservation is provided for general EWS, OBC, SC, ST, sports quota, and employee quota. The admission process is too good that students need not panic about documents BHU gives sufficient time for documents verification.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculties are highly qualified some are researchers from foreign countries and some are from iits. Teaching methods are average professors did not spend enough time on students because they have to do research also. Exams are held semester-wise 5-6 months each semester there are a total of 6 semesters in the BSc course. Exams were not very difficult it is easier to moderate to pass the semester examination.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for starting semester (1st) is approx 3000 for BSc (mathematics) now the fee is extended and proposed to 4400 starting semester but bhu provide education at very low cost compared to other central universities. Scholarships like Annapurna bhojnalaya, and Canadian yojna for students in which free meals are provided to the students. An amount of rs 2000 shall be granted for students belonging to poor backgrounds and a maximum of rs 5000 shall be provided for students for organizing seminars and workshops and many other types of scholarships will be provided to the students.
Campus Life
available in the like cricket, football, athletics, volleyball, swimming, etc. University also takes part in khelo India school games and cricket team for university championship like east zone inter University championship for cricket. Imagix,taalasya ect types of the club run by the students for students.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms sizes are small in which two students live in one room hostels are fully wifi and courts of badminton and volleyball provide in hostels, playgrounds are slightly away from some hostels. Meals are of average type two times mela provided lunch and dinner for breakfast students have to paid extra amont.meal contain veg and non veg both type with green leafely vegetables and pulses, rice meal of each day are different. For hostel allotment you have to score good in entrance exam and residents are far like not in varanasi district, on alloting hostels you have to submit dosier and anti ragging forms and submit fee of hostel ,hostel is affordable for any types of students belongs to weaker economic sections also. If one can not get hostel students room pg are avilable near 1 km of bhu like sheer,chittupur,bhagwanpur,hyderbad gate,Lanka rooms are chefest in area of chittupur and sheer approx rs 1500-2000 for single and rs 2200-3000 for double provided with study table chair also.
