Remarks

You should have marked off more than 65% and you should have science in class 12. You should find the application form on the university portal. If u reserve your seat your seat gets reserved for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have opted for this course because I have an interest in coding from school the faculty ratio is 70:1 means there is one teacher for 70 students. The faculty is well educated from well universities. The way of teaching is excellent.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 82000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 6 semesters, you are eligible for the placement. There are many large MNCs like Wipro that visit every year to provide the students with great opportunities. The highest package this year is 44 lakhs and the average package is 6-7 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

You have to pay 82 thousand for your academic fees per semester and there is also a hostel facility for the students. The hostel rooms have variations like ac and non-ac rooms. The cost for the hostel varies from 35 000 -to 60000 per semester.

There are many fests organised on our campus related to fun, quiz, knowledge Nd many more it is very interesting to participate in these types of events everyone enjoys participating in these events. many types of books are provided in libraries for our help. There are many types of sports for the students. Events are also held after a gap of a few days which is good for the students. There are many clubs related to different styles of dance, singing clubs, theatre clubs and even modelling clubs which is a plus point as students get confidence and these types of clubs help them to overcome their fear.

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

i chose this college over other colleges becuase of its reputation , in recent years Chitkara has made its name whether we talk about placements or any other various field, it has a brand value as a private college its a quite good college,this is slightly a new college that is why boards were the criteria to get admission and other colleges i applied to took admission o the basis of JEE mains and i had not scored that good in it that is why did'nt able to clear the cutoff for my required branch, i applied t o Thapar Institute Of Technology, Patiala , Chandigarh University,Punjab, Amity University, Punjab Chandigarh College of Architecture.. i got confirmation from everywhere but just in Thapar i did not get Computer Science, The elegibility criteria in Chitkara is min aggregrate of 60% in jee mains and 70% in boards then there are several cutoffs on which the branches are given to students...Read More

I choose this college because it have a good placement ratio and packages. Here placements cell heads are helpful and teaches us about how to grab good placement.
