Remarks

College management is nice but not much good. Maintenance of grounds and premises are so much good and clean condition. Study is good and faculty of each department is very co-operative and good. They are very good and very much helpful. Evaluation is very strict. Difficult to score and pass in examination. So study well.

Entrance Preview

Entrance exam- CUSAT CAT 2013, I GOT 11524 RANK (GENERAL ) and got CS in Engineering batch. This is a government university so i chose it and i want to complete my B.tech from a government college. I always interested in engineering course. I didn't get selected in IIT or NIT or BITS so i choose this.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is very good and interesting. Well qualified faculties with vast knowledge teach us.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies come in our college and students who are eligible and performs good in interview got selected. Interenship of mine is yet not started. It will start from 4th year onwards.

Many students have placed from our college. Many companies have come with their respective package and eligibility criteria. MU sigma- 4.45lakh/annum Unisys-8.45lakh/annum, TCS-3.25lakh/annum, Wipro-3.38lakh/annum, Samsung-7.75lakh/annum, Snapdeal-15.25 lakh/annum, Flipkart-12.35 lakh / annum, etc.

College celebrates Tech fest, cultural fest sattva, sports meet, coding fest. My participation was in the tech fest and i didn't win it.

Campus life is very boring. Very less girls. Especially from north india. No fighting with anybody. Has 4 political parties. SFI, ABVP, MSF, KSU.

College seniors are interactive. No ragging. We have anti- ragging campaign. Seniors support juniors and help them like in understanding subject, giving their notes and books etc.

Faculty

Faculty of each department put their full focus on students to get extra knowledge takes tests at regular intervals.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

College at the heart of kuttanad

The university is very much reputed when compared to other universities. It was my great wish from childhood onwards to study under Cochin University. The conducts an examination named CUSAT CAT (COMMON ADMISSION TEST) every year. Students can attend the computer-based test and ranklist will be published in the university website afterwards. Students with top ranks will be allotted. The overall admission procedure through 3 allotments and followed by spot allotment for which the student should be present at the university in the exact date and time informed by the officials.
