Remarks

The eligibility of the course is that you should have attempted any one jee mains and you should have achieved 75% in your 12th board exams. The application form is on the university's official site. Reservation benefits are you can reserve your seat even at fewer marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because it has a greater future scope and the best placements that I need. Faculity student ratio is good about 1 teacher per 70 students. All the faculty members had done their PhDs. They all are doctorates.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 82000 per year

Placement Experience

Companies visit campus in the 3rd year to provide good placements. Before placement year they enroll in a special course to teach how to behave and image themselves in the interview. About 99% of students will get good placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for this course is 82000 per semester which means you have to spend 7lakhs only for tuition fees if you want to avail hostel then you have options like ac and non-ac rooms and the cost varies from 35000 to 60000 per semester.

Campus Life

Many fests are organized per month like dance competitions open mic competitions stand-up comedies for the fun of students. They are having DJ nights and many singers had come to shoot their song videos. Many sports competitions are also there.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are well painted and had proper furniture a study table with special focus light facilities of induction, microwave, electric kettle, iron is also there. The common washrooms are very neat and clean.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

i chose this college over other colleges becuase of its reputation , in recent years Chitkara has made its name whether we talk about placements or any other various field, it has a brand value as a private college its a quite good college,this is slightly a new college that is why boards were the criteria to get admission and other colleges i applied to took admission o the basis of JEE mains and i had not scored that good in it that is why did'nt able to clear the cutoff for my required branch, i applied t o Thapar Institute Of Technology, Patiala , Chandigarh University,Punjab, Amity University, Punjab Chandigarh College of Architecture.. i got confirmation from everywhere but just in Thapar i did not get Computer Science, The elegibility criteria in Chitkara is min aggregrate of 60% in jee mains and 70% in boards then there are several cutoffs on which the branches are given to students...Read More

I choose this college because it have a good placement ratio and packages. Here placements cell heads are helpful and teaches us about how to grab good placement.
