Remarks

The eligibility criteria of chikara university are you should have passed 12th class with marks more than 75 percent and have maths and chemistry and physics. It's not a necessity but you can also clear iit main exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course because I have an interest in coding. The student's faculty ratio is 70:1 ( 1 teacher for 70 students). All the faculty are well qualified and their teaching method is also good. You will have your st or fa every month on dates provided by your teacher

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 82000 per year

Placement Experience

After 6 semesters students became eligible for placements. there are many companies like Wipro that come on the campus to provide good opportunities to the students. The highest CTC package this year is 1.1 crore and the average package is 8-10 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for this course is 82000 per semester which means you have to spend 7 lakhs approximately in four years only for tuition fees. If u want hostel facilities u have to pay 48000 per semester for 4 sharing rooms.

Campus Life

The life at campus is events . There are many events in month like dance competition, open mic , and dramas which provide you opportunity. Chitkara university has a huge library which have a large number of books. Classrooms at Chitkara are good there is Ac in all the classes .

Hostel Facilities

You should be provided bed with mattress, one Almira, study table with night lamp . The meal at mess is also good the menu keep changing every month. if u want to register for hostel facility u have to register online on university portal

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

i chose this college over other colleges becuase of its reputation , in recent years Chitkara has made its name whether we talk about placements or any other various field, it has a brand value as a private college its a quite good college,this is slightly a new college that is why boards were the criteria to get admission and other colleges i applied to took admission o the basis of JEE mains and i had not scored that good in it that is why did'nt able to clear the cutoff for my required branch, i applied t o Thapar Institute Of Technology, Patiala , Chandigarh University,Punjab, Amity University, Punjab Chandigarh College of Architecture.. i got confirmation from everywhere but just in Thapar i did not get Computer Science, The elegibility criteria in Chitkara is min aggregrate of 60% in jee mains and 70% in boards then there are several cutoffs on which the branches are given to students...Read More

I choose this college because it have a good placement ratio and packages. Here placements cell heads are helpful and teaches us about how to grab good placement.
