The college provides a lot of opportunities in many fields, also the campus is beautiful, the different clubs provide a proper exposure to the outer world, also providing the budding entrepreneurs chance to get into the market by providing proper guidance.

Course Curriculum Overview

The knowledge among faculties for their subject is up to mark and give proper guidance for placements and also they encourage students for start-ups, research and also the patents. They give solutions to a problem students provide to them.

Internships are provided based on the talents of students and their problem-solving skills the interns from chikara get proper exposure and get a lot of knowledge and at the same time, they also get money for the work they do.

Placement Experience

Placements are good enough this year only a student got placed on amazon for 1.1cr and the average placement is nice too, in the 5th semester the students start getting placed and they get a good package and it is nice to have your dream job and chinkara provides that to you.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is simple 92000 for the admission and 1st-semester fees and for the next semester it is 82000/sem the fees structure might seem a little high but it is worth paying this premium for the kind of education they provide here.

Campus Life

Campus life is good proper exposure is provided to students college conducts many events like comedy shows, open mics and also the clubs are very nice and frequently events are conducted by the office of student affairs in which clubs also compete.

Hostels are very nice the food is good the infrastructure and furniture is up to mark and also there are many options provided to you accordingly 1,2,3,4 seater rooms , a.c , non a.c. and also the non a.c. rooms are provided with dessert coolers

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

i chose this college over other colleges becuase of its reputation , in recent years Chitkara has made its name whether we talk about placements or any other various field, it has a brand value as a private college its a quite good college,this is slightly a new college that is why boards were the criteria to get admission and other colleges i applied to took admission o the basis of JEE mains and i had not scored that good in it that is why did'nt able to clear the cutoff for my required branch, i applied t o Thapar Institute Of Technology, Patiala , Chandigarh University,Punjab, Amity University, Punjab Chandigarh College of Architecture.. i got confirmation from everywhere but just in Thapar i did not get Computer Science, The elegibility criteria in Chitkara is min aggregrate of 60% in jee mains and 70% in boards then there are several cutoffs on which the branches are given to students...Read More

I choose this college because it have a good placement ratio and packages. Here placements cell heads are helpful and teaches us about how to grab good placement.
