Remarks

The admission process was quite simple. There is no need for any of the entrance exams. It is just that you need to have a good boards exam. The application form is available online. And the fees for the same are also quite affordable. Since I have no reservation so I don't have a good idea regarding it. Not quite happy with the way they are treating me.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course I had chosen is CSE. This is because in the present environment CSE course has great scope. The class's strength varies accordingly but on average it is about 60 students per class. The teachers here are highly qualified and most of the teachers are PhD in their respective subjects. The end terms are quite givable and we had a great time attempting them.

Internships Opportunities

The company like amazon give digital marketing and many more with stipends of around 20 thousand per month. And other companies also provide good stipend salary. The full stacks also have a good value here.

Placement Experience

Usually, other colleges give placement benefits in the 7th sem here we have placements getting started from the 6th sem. The companies known to me are Infosys. amazon airtel, Flipkart, etc and many more. The highest package is about 50 lacs and the average is around 7 lacs. About every 4 students from 5 get placed. After getting the degree I would love to spend time in the office and do get better.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees hike is constant for our four-year course. The cost is quite healthy and affordable with respect to other colleges. Although I didn't received any scholarship though we have a good chance of getting placed.

Campus Life

The annual fest is a freshers party held in the initial days of our college. For the facility of the book, we have a library to issue them and also a tuck shop to buy several books at a reasonable price. There are severable sports being played all around the college. And many events are being held at the college. A happiness club is being run by the students.

Hostel Facilities

In the room, we have a table along with a chair and a cupboard. We are provided with a dustbin also. The meal here is also very good and hygienic. For hostel enrolment, we have to just fill out a form. Sorry as I dint have a pg room so I don't know about it.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Honest is the best Policy

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

i chose this college over other colleges becuase of its reputation , in recent years Chitkara has made its name whether we talk about placements or any other various field, it has a brand value as a private college its a quite good college,this is slightly a new college that is why boards were the criteria to get admission and other colleges i applied to took admission o the basis of JEE mains and i had not scored that good in it that is why did'nt able to clear the cutoff for my required branch, i applied t o Thapar Institute Of Technology, Patiala , Chandigarh University,Punjab, Amity University, Punjab Chandigarh College of Architecture.. i got confirmation from everywhere but just in Thapar i did not get Computer Science, The elegibility criteria in Chitkara is min aggregrate of 60% in jee mains and 70% in boards then there are several cutoffs on which the branches are given to students...Read More

I choose this college because it have a good placement ratio and packages. Here placements cell heads are helpful and teaches us about how to grab good placement.
