Remarks

I was eligible for the BTech course as I got 88 per cent in my class 12 which was a decent percentage to get into a college I search some colleges then I found Chitkara University institute of computer science which I opted for.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was good I want this course because I want to do BTech and the faculty and ratio were good the male and female ratio is fine teaching method is quite good and exams were not any difficult and it was a nice method of teaching.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 82000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Offered hair and the type inside 10000 pendants to 750000 skills all the basis of projects we made we get internships in the on the basis of that project you also get some typing which is quite from 10000 to 20 to 30000.

Placement Experience

They are a lot of companies who visited our colleges and the semester and the placement are we can above the 7 the CGPA the is the good and average package like around 4 to 8 lakh and we have some planes after the degree for doing and technology.

Fees and Financial Aid

Only 5% free height in a hostel there is no free hike in my college 0% device only 5% so it is not an issue and we get some scholarships if we get good marks and also subject so it and we get also some good.

Campus Life

The offline activities in the annual first point good or college increases to go for the actor local activities there are many society many clubs and we are free to do as what as when you think she can do anyone to do in that.

Hostel Facilities

Chetna and Vikas kuleshwar which teachers are oops and registration of hostel affordable the quality of mealy was quite good we get a sample of food here and with all the hygiene is required as a priority level.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

i chose this college over other colleges becuase of its reputation , in recent years Chitkara has made its name whether we talk about placements or any other various field, it has a brand value as a private college its a quite good college,this is slightly a new college that is why boards were the criteria to get admission and other colleges i applied to took admission o the basis of JEE mains and i had not scored that good in it that is why did'nt able to clear the cutoff for my required branch, i applied t o Thapar Institute Of Technology, Patiala , Chandigarh University,Punjab, Amity University, Punjab Chandigarh College of Architecture.. i got confirmation from everywhere but just in Thapar i did not get Computer Science, The elegibility criteria in Chitkara is min aggregrate of 60% in jee mains and 70% in boards then there are several cutoffs on which the branches are given to students...Read More

I choose this college because it have a good placement ratio and packages. Here placements cell heads are helpful and teaches us about how to grab good placement. No, i didn't get a rejection from other colleges but i choose this because transportation is easy in this as compared to other colleges.
