it was very easy .just fill admission form and your admission will be formed. Go to chitkara websites and form will be available for everyone. you will get the reply within 2-3 days. all the payments are done in digital form.No reservation benefits available.

Course Curriculum Overview

course curriculum is provided in the start of the semester to everyone on their official site and is mailed to every student personally on their university emails.faculty members are quite good and your problem is solved within a day.teachers teaching here are equally good here.every teacher here is qualified and Phd scholars.regular ST and FA are taken here.this course in this university provide best packages around the world.every class has nearly 60 students with their indivisual teacher

Internships Opportunities

more than 80% students got internship which is quite good. companies like cisco , infosis , ibm, wipro, goldsmith , microsoft etc for roles like research, data provider , web developement,cyber security etc. intership oppurtunities are also available in campus in various types of societies.

Placement Experience

from 6th semester onwards student are avalable to campus placement and approx 90% students are got placed. companies like wipro , infosis, cisco, microsoft, dell are avalable during campus placement. average pakage is approx 6lpa and if we talk about highest its 1.11cr this year. more than 90% students are placed . my plans are to get good placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

the cost of study here is average neither very cheap nor too expensive. i am a freshie so i have not got any job oppurtunities in particular but all my seniors friends are placed either on campus or off campus.

we have Dj nights here and many technical fests like hackaton or codethon. librarary is not too vast but their are some good books available . most of the books available their are for educational purposes.each classroo has AC and fans in it. wifi availability is present all over the campus.every sport is present here and university hosts their tournaments every year.their are many social groups but i am a part of happiness club.

Hostel Facilities

facilities provided in a basic room is fans and coller. the meal quality is not too good but a person can have his stomach full.one can register for hostel on their official website and price of hostel is 55000/semester.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

i chose this college over other colleges becuase of its reputation , in recent years Chitkara has made its name whether we talk about placements or any other various field, it has a brand value as a private college its a quite good college,this is slightly a new college that is why boards were the criteria to get admission and other colleges i applied to took admission o the basis of JEE mains and i had not scored that good in it that is why did'nt able to clear the cutoff for my required branch, i applied t o Thapar Institute Of Technology, Patiala , Chandigarh University,Punjab, Amity University, Punjab Chandigarh College of Architecture.. i got confirmation from everywhere but just in Thapar i did not get Computer Science, The elegibility criteria in Chitkara is min aggregrate of 60% in jee mains and 70% in boards then there are several cutoffs on which the branches are given to students...Read More

I choose this college because it have a good placement ratio and packages. Here placements cell heads are helpful and teaches us about how to grab good placement. No, i didn't get a rejection from other colleges but i choose this because transportation is easy in this as compared to other colleges.
