For admission to NIT Raipur First, you have a good score in 12th(75%+) and You have a good score in JEE MAIN. After that You have to apply through JOSAA for this college then if you are eligible you get this college. Reservations are available for females, EWS, OBC, SC, ST, and PWD.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I am interested in Electrical engineering so I have chosen this course and the college have a good placement in this branch so I choose this college. The student-faculty ratio is approx 12:1. The faculties are hight qualified and have very good teaching skills. In the offline, you have to give two exams, mid sem, and end sem. And these are held in her own time. Exams are not very difficult, if you study, you are Diifinatly getting a good Score.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Our college provides internship opportunities but less in percentage. Like CSE and IT, there is a very good percentage and in lower branches, the percentage is getting low. Approx 50 to 60% of students are getting the internship.

Placement Experience

4

In our college companies are coming from starting of 7th semester. Approx 100 companies are visiting our campus. The placement Percentage is 70-80% with an average of 10.20LPA. The highest package in Offcampus is 2 core(CSE) which is given by Facebook. And highest package on campus is 64 lakh(CSE). The lowest package is 3.4 lakh(civil).

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of all the NITs is the same. And scholarships are based on your family income and your cast and gender. For SC/ST and income below 1lakh are getting free tuition fee. And income has 1to 5 lakh getting relaxation of 2/3 rd of tuition fee.

Campus Life

4.5

Electika is our annual fest. And tech fest is awarded. And a cultural fest smart. Each year we have 3 major fests. Our college provides good library facilities. The extra curriculum activities are very good in our college. In our college, official clubs are Innovation cell, raaga-the music club, abhinaya- the dramatic club, quiz- interact Club, cell, motorsport, and many more. The groups that are run by the student are like hack club, financenitrr and many more.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Our college doesn't offer a hostel for all the students. Those who score well in exams, only they are getting a hostel. But if someone didn't get a hostel the pgs are available in the local area within a 1-2 km range.

Placement Experience:

We can do internships after 1st year and 2nd but for the placement it's in 4th year. The training and placement cell of the college has work consistently to bring reputated companies like a TCS Wipro Infosys LNT Infotech etc. the medium package for uses students is like 4 lakh per annum and PG students was about 4 to 5 lakh per annum. However when compared with some of the top tile institutions the package levels and placement percentage highlight the student themselves me to bridge through internship of campus drive and additional certifications. Another noticeable trend is that placements 10 to be more favourable for the branches like computer science and information technology where are School branches of an face lower absorption rates which is common in many engineering colleges. But here off campus placement are really good

Placement scenario is so good as per the stats . Like students are eligible for placements from there 7th sem . No. Of companies visited is around 200 (guess). Offers made 600(guess) . Highest package is 65 lpa , and average package is 9 lpa there are major two roles one is core engineering get role and other is non core data analyst role . 86 % students are placed last year . My plan is to get good placements from college itself and then after experience I will go for MBA or higher studies .

Course curriculum is very outdated and here the facilities more practical and they believe that if you want you can do other field like non-technical fields and something like government exam. There course or syllabus is not industrial ready.

Internship for the third and final year students, but not paid mostly. Placements are very few, don't expect placement from any government college in Chhattisgarh. Work on your skill. Companies like Adani came for placement for Mtech mining students. Highest package is of 3.5 lpa, He works in Bangalore. Other students do master. I am working in my skills and I will try for off campus placement or I will go abroad for master or job.
