Surajit Baishya's Review On Nalbari College, Nalbari

All the quality of the college is good but there is a problem yet. After heavy rain, the college campus as well as streets remain under water. This is the big disadvantage of the college. The management is not bad but still need many improvement. I hope that my college will be known all over my country once and help the students in achieving their goals.

I took the JEE main entrance exam in the year 2013. I appeard only one time. I had an ambition to pass the great examination after seeing my brother appearing in the same. Then I was in my high school. I was impressed by his advice to study courageously. Thus I gathered an impression to appear in the examination. After passing HSSLC examination I appeard in the entrance. But I was not selected. I secured only 62 marks. After that I made my mind to study BSc. I had much interests in mathematics. So I took mathematics as my major subject.

As an under graduate student, we are not eligible for research. And there is no research facility in our college. But our teaching faculty is very brilliant in my consideration.

I have not seen as well as heard about any company that came to our college. Its only an under graduate degree college.

So there is not any provision for placement & job. The college is only an under graduate degree college. Students have to go to university after completing their bachelor degrees to study for their master degrees.

The college festivals are the freshment social of the college as well as departmental freshers of each of the departments. Again the college week is the biggest festival. Many sports competition and cultural competition quiz are organized in the festival.

The following two scholarships are sponsored by the State and Central Governments for knowledge: 1. National Scholarship (All India basis) 2.State Scholarship (All Assam basis) No loan is available from all about I know.

The campus is developing very good. It has a big and beautiful play ground. The college has concrete buildings. The college surrounded by trees with birds on them.There are about 800 students and the Female to Male ratio is approximately 45:55 out of in a hundred or 9:11.Our students have a blood donating group which is a great honor and pride of our college. Students have also cultural and quiz groups and they brought respect to the college by performing in many inter-college competition. Also the students have a powerful union to keep the college environment always clean, discipline and peaceful.

The college has separate boys and girls hostel. These are with neither luxurious nor less facility. There is a pleasant environment. The hostel seats are enough and daily food are almost good.

I always have respect for my seniors. They always helped and encouraged me and my friends and adviced to study nicely. Someone also helped me by offering his previous books and notes. I had experienced many study tips as well as their good advice about study that are helping me now a lot.

I am so happy with my teachers. They are really brilliant. I have learnt a lot from them. Our professors are so qualified.
