Remarks

Students should pass their intermediate and also they should qualify for TSEAMCET. Both local and non-local students can write this entrance. You can apply it from the given website tseamcet.nic.in. There are seats for both reservation candidates and also in the open category.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this college because I aspire to become an electrical engineer. The faculty-student ratio is 70:1. All the lectures here are M Tech passed out candidates. They teach only what is there in the book. You have 2 semesters and 2midterm exams every year. It's hard to pass the semester exams one need to work hard in order to pass Or score a good percentage.

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 18000 per year

Placement Experience

In between 7-8th semesters, students are eligible for campus placements. Mostly software companies like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahendra and Infosys. I think around 6-7 lakh per anum is the highest package and the average package lies around 3lakh per anum. 60-70 percent of students from a Software background get placed and 20-30% from a core background.

Fees and Financial Aid

As this college is a government college if you qualify TSEAMCET you get complete tuition fee reimbursement (only for locals). Students only need to pay hostel and mess fee which is approximately 3000 per month. Students who successfully qualified for TSEAMCET are eligible for TSEAPASS where you recieve the scholarship which is approximately 18k per year.

Campus Life

Fests are generally conducted in the month of April. Students actively take part every year. This college has a vast library with no books. Students can comfortably take away books which required and a maximum of 4 books can be taken at once and the return period is 15 days. There are many student unions irrespective of their course, branch, or year.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is okay. A maximum of 3 students are accommodated in each room. The rooms are spacious and well ventilated. The meals and menu provided here are of average quantity. You need to deposit 10000 (refundable).In college bank account as a caution deposit.

Absolutely unsatisfied because of faculty and lack of placements.

Placement Experience:

Right Iam in 7 th semester ending,no company came to our college to recruit us.May be in 8 th sem companies will come.My seniors got in some companies like TCS, Infosys,Capgemini etc..with an average of 3.6 lpa.And all students did not get placed just 10 students in each class got placement.We need more placements to satisfy the students.

There are many companies costing the campus for recruitement like Accenture ,Infosys , keka , Accenture , infor etc and many other startup . They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

Placement Experience:

After the third year or 6th Semester you can take part in placements. There has been a lack of companies visiting this year. So far Infosys, accenture, cognizant, LSEG, Verisk have come for placements. The details are unknown to all the people but the highest package yet has been around 16-20 LPA. The Percentage of students getting placed is less compared to previous years around 20-30%
