Remarks

Nit Andhra Pradesh is a well built campus in west godavari district. The college has a btech cutoff or 18795 as the opening rank and 15078 as the closing rank for general category in computer science. After the profile got shortlisted, i recieved a call from the executive to pay the fees. The admission process went on smoothly.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum had technical modules like discrete mathematics, principles of programming languages, numerical computing, etc. The faculty was well versed in the topics and took unit tests to prepare us well for the exams. The teacher student ratio here was 12:1

NIT Andhra Pradesh had a placement record of 60.6% placement rate. The average package was 6.89 lakh per annum, while the highest package was 16 lakh per annum. I got the training at the placement cell in group discussions and mock interviews. Companies visiting the campus were IBM, Vedanta, Google, JP Morgan and chase, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students of this university have access to avail the Jnanabhumi scholarships. O submitted my details through Google form and recieved my verification certificate. However, the scholarship has to be renewed every year.

Campus Life

My campus life at NIT Andhra was booming. We had all amenities including a central library that had every course books along with the e-resources. We played basketball and tennis at the court in the leisure time from our studies. The beautiful campus of Nit Andhra Pradesh, has a lot resources and amenities to offer.

Review of My college

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible to sit in the campus placement. There are a lot of companies that visit my college including Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Quaxy and many more. Number of offers made are above 500. Highest package in 2024 was 40 lpa and average package was 5 lpa. Almost 90 percent of the students were placed. I'll go with placement after my degree.

Placement Experience:

From the third semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placements based on thier performance and cgpa or else they must be placed after four semesters in b. Tech. Many companies like Tesla, Amazon, Google, Infosys, Wipro, .. visit the college annually. Average package is of 8lakh per annum and the highest package is 60lpa. 80 percent of the students get placed at the end of the semester. My plans after the degree is to get a good job offering me a minimum 40lpa and after the will establish my own company in the market.

College life at NIT-AP

I liked this college because studying at a national institute is every student's dream. It is not that much easy. Particularly, we can't compare these national institutes with other colleges as they are highly prestigious. The main reason why I have chosen this college, we (Andhra) people have 50% reserved seats in the college. Eligibility is students should have to clear their jee mains exam with the best percentile to secure their dream branch. The cut-off will be changed every year.
