Remarks

Minimum eligibility of the student is the student has to get minimum 60% of marks in class 12th and in GAT admission test conducted by GITAM through online. Student has to get minimum 70 marks in GAT exam. You can find application in GITAM official website and you can apply for it by paying fee. Fees is RS1000 and exam will be conducted in given dates in the website.

I choosed this course because after completion of my education I want to start food processing unit as my business. Faculty teaching us are very experienced and well educated. Faculty also uses some online methods to conduct exams and some topics to understand better. There are 2 semesters for year and they are very easy to pass

Placement Experience

By th 6th semester students get eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visited campus like HCL, infosis, paytm, licious, byjus and etc. 45LPA is the highest placement in GITAM Hyderabad and 98% of students got placements in college placements. My plans after the course is to start a food processing unit.

Fees and Financial Aid

For food science and technology course GITAM is taking RS90000 for year and compared to other universities it is less. Some other universities are charging 80K per semester. If the student want scholarship then he has to get minimum 120 marks in GAT exam.

Campus Life

Every month there will be a fest like open mic or ethnic day or etc.... Annual fest is pranaama fest which will be conducted in February month in every year. There's a big library in campus which consists of 4 floors and many books.

Placement Experience:

My college for student who are pursuing BCA course usually get placements during their 5th and 6th semester it was about 4lpa-5lpa. We usually get Mahindra,TCS, Infosys. Our college highest package is about 4lpa-5lpa and lowest was about 2lpa. In our college students with good percentage in their placement exam will get placements.
