Remarks

I have taken admission through JEE main and for CS the cut off for jee is 92 and 97 percentile in mhcet for open category.For Admission processes college have special section on ground floor. But Takes too much time as only 1 or 2 counter is there for admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer Science Engineering was chosen by me based on my interest. The faculty : student ratio is near about 10:80 approximately. There is 50 : 10 teaching method used in college which means 50 min teaching and 10 min student interactions. Term exams were timely taken in 1st year but in 2nd and 3rd year due to covid were 3-4 months late.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 118000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many training and internship courses are provided by college but for stipend internship students have to find themselves. Internship based on data scientists, data analytics, full stack, frontend developer, backend developer.

Placement Experience

Placements starts from semester 7 and college have around 4-5L average. TCS, Cognizant, Wipro ,Tech Mahindra and many more companies come for recruitment. Last year higest package was around 15L . I am planing for master after graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

For open category student there is no scholarship opportunities from government except student is EWS, many Hackathon, events, are conducted or provided where winner gets cash prizes, and internship are also allowed so there are some stipend Internship .

Campus Life

Alacrity is annual fest of college which is conducted around mid to end of march, and have cesa events of computer department in month of October. Many reference books are available in library with atleast 10 copies of each. Intra department sport competition are also conducted with both indoor and outdoor sports. GDC, MLSAC, KALAKARI, and many more clubs are in college.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

Admission: I had also applied for top colleges of Pune with tech related branches but the main reason I can't get their is due to high cutoff of colleges I had applied for top colleges like VIT Pune,PCCOE Pune ,PICT Pune ,D.Y.Patil Pune etc and through cap process depending on my percentile I get my current college AISSMS IOIT Pune and I confirmed for these I sorted the colleges depending on some parameter like last year cutoff, placement percentage, autonomous or not etc My college is in Maharashtra so around 80% of seats given to the students who are admitted through Maharashtra state entrance exam for engineering that is MHTCET and remaining 20% are seat are for candidates who admitted through JEE MAIN score so most students peffered MHTCET Exam for admission in our college The overall addmission process is like after declaration of result student make list of colleges and branches those he want to take that list is in a sequential manner then student had to upload that list on portal of MHTCET after 2-3 day result of that list comes and the college which is allocated seen to us then it depend on us that we want to confirm that college and branch or go for next round total 3 rounds are take place in that process and after confirmation of college reporting has been done offline to the college for final addmission process...Read More

Reviewing the journey up till now !!

I gave several exams and cracked them , but due to some or the other factor , I couldn't choose any other college. Due the ongoing CBSE boards, I couldn't register for MHTCET which is apparently a state exam for MAHARASHTRA . You can opt for different colleges in MAHARASHTRA after giving this exam.
