Average college.

This college is best suited for the students who are from in and around Dharmapuri. Not much suited for out station students. Altogether, the town is a good place to live, but need ones descrimination about college before joining.

I have joined in this colege based on 10+2 (Intermediate) marks. The scoring is considered based on the MPC percentage of marks. Hence, not faced any entrance exam.

The college was affiliated to University of Madras and mine was the last batch. From the next batch, it was affiliated to periyar university. I am not sure, but came to know that, this college was affiliated to Anna University some years ago. Those who are interested, may check before proceeding further.

No internship offered when i was studying Not sure how it is now!!! But i have seen plenty of casses, Where there is a reduction is college fees for economically backward class.

There was no placement or job opportunities provided during 2001. The college was started recently and was not popular by which it can attract companies for campus selection. But now a days, i heard some of the companies are approaching. Please check before making any move.

College anniversary day will be held every year. Group excursions were also held. Industrial visits will be a part of the 4 years degree. But nothing can be expected much from the college. One should be capable of preparing for exams himself. Most of the college proffessors are seniors from the same college.

Fee structure is feasible. I was a day scholar during my engineering days. Upto my knowledge, most of the people used to come out of the hostel after 1st year as they will have considerable knowledge about the town by then.

There is some scholarship available but i dont know much about that. But i have availed the study loan from bank. I have taken for 3rd and final year college fees through loan. All nationalised banks approve the study loan as the college is AICTE approved college.

Campus life is good having 30% of femal students. The main advantage is the the college has a very big campus, in which Engineering, Polytechnic, Nursing, BPT, Hotel management colleges share the same campus. Labs are OK. College also encourage to some extent in Sports.

As of now, no alumni network is present. But some of our old students/class mates used to chat and share through social media. But not much support from college in this regard.
