My college is affiliated from Atal Bihari Vajpayee University Bilaspur. To get admission in my college first of all you have to go to ABVU site and fill the admission form in which students select there college in which they are willing to take the admission. After this colleges provides marit list on the basis of students merit and category. If student name appears on the list they can take admission in the respective college. Three lists are published by the colleges and then if seats are available they go for open councilling and students can get admission from this process too. Eligibility for different courses is different, students can get every detail in ABVU Bilaspur's website. Course Curriculum Overview

3

I had chosen BSc in computer science as I always wanted to pursue my degree in this field. Faculty students ratio is adequate. Teaching is done in hindi medium, so a beat hard to understand for English medium students. Pre-examinations are held in January, then practicals in February and final exams are in March

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee for first year is around 15000, for second year it is around 18000 and for the final year it is around 20000. The scholarships provided by the state government are the only type of scholarship a student can have. No campus placements are available in this college.

Campus Life

2

No fests are conducted by the college. Student are the only source of fest and sports, which students organise on there own will. There is no extra curricular activities ptovided by college other than there poor teachings. We had a library, but only for the name. No books are available in it.

Placement Experience:

The Office of Career Services works incredibly hard to get big names on campus. Whether you want to go into consulting, policy, or work with an NGO, the support is actually there. seeing companies like EY and ITC hire from us is a huge confidence boost. what i love most is how my seniors are doing everything from journalism to activism, and it makes me feel like i'm not stuck in one lane and can really build my own path.

Placement Experience:

When student are in final year they are eligible for placements with average package upto 3LPA. Placement companies visit like: ICICI Bank, Induslnd Bank, Nilon, Wipro, IIFL, Godrej etc. Percentage of student getting placement is 70% due to high competitions if you have skills then your placement is assured but in this field most of them hold placement who pursue BCA with good and avg. package. And I plan for MCA in future from NIT.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for a BSc in mathematics with computer science as one of the core subject. As the computer is highly demanded subject for placements. Faculties are not that good, some professors are good but some are very rude and doesn't even teach well. Fcaulty student ratio is very low. Almost around all faculty members have Phd degree so they all are very experienced. They teach well and clear doubt. But few teachers don't teach well so it depends on your luck which teacher you get. Semester exams take place in every six months, studying for semester exams is not difficult, study your class notes and do past 5-7 years paper whole heartedily and you will ace the exams. Yes but checking of the answer sheets is very strict so make sure you write well.
