Remarks

We are eligible for the course based on the JEE Mains exam or VITEEE exam. I have joined this college based on the VITEEE exam. The students who get good score in the exam are preferred first. The application form is available in the official website of the college. The application fee is 2000 rupees. We can also avail the reservation in the college. I have availed OBC reservation. There is no improvement needed in the admission process.

I have chosen this course because I am very interested in coding and my family is from a software background. The faculty and the student ratio is about 1:20. All the faculty in the college are well qualified and they are passionate about teaching the subject and also to learn the new technologies. The exams are moderate to pass if we follow the lectures daily.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies offer the internship to our college like IBM, Cisco. The internships are offered in the various roles and along with the stipend. I have done the internship in cyber security stream that is offered by the IBM company and I also got the stipend of 5000 rupees. We can gain a lot of knowledge and also the real time job experience by doing the internship.

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, the students will be eligible for the placements. Many companies visit our college for placements including MNCs like Microsoft, Amazon, PayPal, Wipro and Infosys. All the companies together offer a total of 7000-8000 job offers to the students. The highest package is 44lpa and the average package is 6.2lpa. Almost 70% of the students get placed in campus placements. My plan after getting the completing of my degree is to become a free-lancer and I have achieved it.

Fees and Financial Aid

The academic fee of the college is around 130000 per year. There is a fee hike policy and the fee may increase every 2 years. The cost to study is slightly higher when compared to the other colleges. We can also avail of the scholarship based on our rank in the VITEEE exam. As I got the rank of 871, I got a 25% scholarship in the academic fee. We can also avail of the scholarship in the academic fee of next year if we perform well in the present semester exams.

Campus Life

The annual fest is conducted by the college every year in the month of March. There are also various tech fests that are held in the college like technoVIT. These tech fests give the students a great chance to show their talent. The library is very large and it is of six floors and it contains around 200000 books in it. Various journals are also available in the library. The classrooms are neat and very hygienic and they contain the amenities like fans, board, screen, projector. All the sports are allowed to play on the campus and also there are sports competitions that are held on the campus for all the departments. Vibrance is a National level two day cultural and sports fest that is conducted in the college every year. There are also many social groups that are organized by the students like tech club, talk club, music club, dance and singing club.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.
