Entrance Preview

I gave JEE which was mandatory for seeking admission in any college of Maharashtra. But from the next year govt. Has made new rule to restart the old exam MHT-CET for admission in engg. College. So yes if you want admission here.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, Many get an internship in good companies. I have seen a lot of my seniors getting intern of pretty much good amount. Not so high but they look quite satisfied. The college is pretty much strong on this part. The T&P cell makes avialable interns for the students. Thus students get great help from college in getting industrial exposure.

Placement Experience

Around 45-50 companise on a regular basis visit the campus every year including many big nane companies like L&T, infosys,IBM, TCS, Cap gemini, seimens, accenture,ec. So yes, if you have potential you would be surely place somewhere. Last year a girk from mech got the highest package of 12 lacs. This year placementd are going on. Placements are increasining every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides freeship and scholarships. But only for those caste reserved geeks. No special treatment for General category guyz. Only thing that can save general guyz is an EBC certificate. But if you are in caste you already have a benefit in fee. And further you can reduce this amount too by taking scholarships and freeships.

Alumni/Alumna

The best part of the college is Crowd. You can find the best helping people always there. Seniors are quite helpful and co-operative. You may never find yourself getting downed by any senior. So if you ask me what i like about my college.Ii would probably speak first about the crowd.

Exam Structure

There are 2 mid sems conducted for every Sem. They include 50-50 portion of the main sem syllabus. The prax and lecs are completed on time and writeups are given on time. There is no such last moment work given. So i would say keep completing your journals assignment otherwise at the end moment you wouldnt get time for studying.

YCCE College : My Experience

Placement Experience:

The placements are good in the YCCE college as compared to other colleges in Nagpur. From seventh semester the students are eligible for the campus reqruitments. The companies that offer placements in YCCE are Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, wipro, Persistent etc. The highest package is around 24 LPA and the average package is around 5 LPA. Around 70-80% students get placed every year in the college. My plans after getting the degree is to get a secure job and spent time with family.

college placements upto corona pendemic is very good but after that its affects our and other college palcements also but its better about 70% of student get placed . as per their performance in academics and skills . college bring very good package offer companies in first 6 to 8 months mostly and inbetween massrecuriter comes . and last 3 to 4 monts most of mass recuriter comes .

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

1) I had also applied for other colleges like Thakur college and Somaiya college and I got addmission in thakur but didn't take admission as I was getting Information technology branch as a cource. Well i got my name for RGIT list in the first cap round itself but i wanted a better college like spit so i tuned rgit as plan b. I got admission here through spot round i got a seat in vartak cs branch thru mh cet but it was a ews seat which was cancelled due to delay in ews submission because of an error from my side. keeping past aside i would say rgit is a decent clg but try for cs or it if possible and in case you want to get thrpugh spot round come asap and for management quota u should come before cap round 1 otherwise they charge u like crazy before spot round cs seat was for 6 lakhs after spot round it was available for 12 lakhs...Read More
