Remarks

The admission process is easy. Just go to college and take the form, fill and submit it to the counter and then pay fees. Application forms are available in college and it comes nearly in the month of May after 12th result. Obc, sc and st caste students get all their fees by filling E-Kalyan scholarship.

I m interested in Mathematics so I choose this course. Mathematics faculty is too good but they need more teachers as there are a huge number of students in mathematics. In the first year, they conduct only semester 1 exams. After 2 years they rush and complete their all exams. In conclusion, exams are not scheduled timely.

Class Size: 246Course Fees: INR 22000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For science faculty, each year fees cost around Rs 20000 per year and for BA it is about Rs 17000 per year. But you can get all your fees by filling E-Kalyan scholarship, which comes every year after paying exam fees. There is no campus with a stipend in the college.

Campus Life

Every year, a Fresher's party and the Farewell party is organized by students of different faculties. But every year there is a fest in the month of November for college. Recently a few months ago Chief Minister of Jharkhand came to the college. All required things like fan light desk, bench are available. There are not enough computers in the library for students' use.

Actually biotechnology is an interdisciplinary program where we have to learn mostly the practical skills but there is no such equipment for doing a decent type of research work as they are not in a working condition. So first it has to be corrected and new equipment should have to buy for a making a good laboratory.

Placement of my college is average. Campus placement is offered. From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placement. WIPRO along with some few other private labelled company visited and no of offers made. Highest package is 6.3 lakhs and average package is around 3 to 4 lakhs per company. Around 50% of students got placed in campus placement offers. I want to do research in Environmental toxicology after getting the degree.

I am chosen this course because mathematics is my strongest subject from all of the others that's why I can choose mathematics. Faculty member of our college is very supportive but some of the teachers are very rude behaviour. Our college teachers are very disciplined about teaching and any project work. My class have 250 students. Every semester our college takes mid sem exam then a viva exam, assignment on every paper, group discussion, surprise test. The exam pattern was based on their classes. The exam pattern is moderate most times.

Positive: Good staff, your work will be finished in a day or in two days. Negative: There are group of aggressive students active in campus but don't worry they don't problem for you until you mesh with them. Also there in lack of proper classes and study in regular order.
