Remarks
The eligibility required is only that we have to pass out 12th with good grades so we can get admission in the merit list. Firstly I submitted the college 100rs form and Mumbai university enrollment form to college than I was selected so I submitted all other documents like mark sheet, leaving certificate, adhaar, pan everything. The process was a little bit hectic but the coordinators in college helped me alot. I have got admission through Gujarati minority as Somaiya has that quota.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I had developed an interest in financial markets and analysis when I used to go to my dad's office so I decided to gain more knowledge of this field so went for this course. The teachers are awesome they are very kind and generous to all students and teach the curriculum perfectly they also provided me the opportunity to participate in Avishkar a research project at the state level they guided me throughout this project. All teachers are very passionate about teaching and qualified. Our exams were delayed a bit in this covid situation and it was held online so we had multiple-choice questions so it was easy for all of us.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of my course is 24000 and it includes all types of fees of college for eg maintenance charges, exam fees, registration fees, College ID card fees, LAB fees, etc. I don't have any idea about the fees hike policy and yeah cost to study increases if a student comes from other states so he has to also pay hostel, mess fees. In our college, many students get placement in good companies like TCS, JP Morgan, KPMG, the morning star which has various job roles like equity analyst, sales and marketing assistant, data research analyst, accountant, etc. Many of them also provided internships also.
Campus Life
We have an annual fest namely Utkarsh which is an exciting event for all students and it is organized by the students of the cultural forum. Our college infrastructure is highly developed and maintained. Fine furniture or boards and a projector are available in the classrooms. Labs are provided according to requirements. Our college library is one of the best parts of our college as it offers a wide range of textbooks for all subjects. Cleanliness is maintained in our hostel area, and students are provided with proper food 3 times. Mess operates in a convenient location. Cricket, soccer, tennis, squash, volleyball, chess, table tennis, swimming, or other stadiums or facilities are available to students. Sports talent members or a sports committee run various sporting competitions.
