Remarks

Admission in any nits are through jee exam followed by josaa counseling. You are eligible for josaa counseling if you have qualified for the exam. You need to make a list of colleges as per your priority, on the basis of that, seats are availed by students.

Course Curriculum Overview

In each semester, there would be 4 exams. Minor 1, mid sem, Minor 2, and then end sem exam. You can pass the exam if you have studied well before exams. Teachers are good. Exams are quite standard. A minor degree has been added to the course curriculum from this year.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 124000 per year

Placement Experience

The placements are excellent. The highest package of 32 lakhs was from ECE. The average package is nearly 7 lakhs. 80% of students get placed but in non-core companies. Students also get selected in the GATE and CAT exams as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee for this course are 8 lakh. But students belonging to st/sc category get a full fee waiver. Scholarships for general and obc students are also there if your family income is below 1lkh or between 1-5 lakh.

Campus Life

Vulcanzy is the annual cultural technical fest of our college. Now we have a permanent college campus so it is celebrated more vividly. A library facility is also available in college. Along with that indoor and outdoor sports complex is there in college. There are 17 different clubs and 8 associations run by students in college. Many webinars and events used to be conducted by them.

Hostel Facilities

For 1st years, 4 students per room accomodation would be there for 2nd,3rd years 2 people per room and for 4th years you will get a single room. In one room they provide a cupboard and cot. Rest all things including bucket mug mattress you only need to arrange by yourself. Food quality is okay. It is better than many other government colleges.

Review of My college

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible to sit in the campus placement. There are a lot of companies that visit my college including Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Quaxy and many more. Number of offers made are above 500. Highest package in 2024 was 40 lpa and average package was 5 lpa. Almost 90 percent of the students were placed. I'll go with placement after my degree.

Placement Experience:

From the third semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placements based on thier performance and cgpa or else they must be placed after four semesters in b. Tech. Many companies like Tesla, Amazon, Google, Infosys, Wipro, .. visit the college annually. Average package is of 8lakh per annum and the highest package is 60lpa. 80 percent of the students get placed at the end of the semester. My plans after the degree is to get a good job offering me a minimum 40lpa and after the will establish my own company in the market.

College life at NIT-AP

I liked this college because studying at a national institute is every student's dream. It is not that much easy. Particularly, we can't compare these national institutes with other colleges as they are highly prestigious. The main reason why I have chosen this college, we (Andhra) people have 50% reserved seats in the college. Eligibility is students should have to clear their jee mains exam with the best percentile to secure their dream branch. The cut-off will be changed every year.
