Remarks

The admission process was fully online. Our college had given dates for admission and various documents xerox copies need to be submitted online as well as offline. I personally didn't avail of any reservation benefit. The admission process still requires a lot of documentation if they can have less documentation so it will be for us.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course because I used track markets since I was 18 years old I had a very keen interest in the stock market. Therefore I choose it. We have 1:12 faculty: student ratio. The teaching method is good they even provide recorded lectures so one can revise easily. Our exams were relatively easy due to lockdown we had only MCQs this time but the finals will be offline so need to prepare for it.

Internships Opportunities

4

I got the Internship at a firm called equity rights in which I was supposed to assist an analyst with all data collection work and using mainly excel then so it was an overall good experience I also got to corporate etiquette and learned how to talk with colleges, seniors and with clients. So overall a good experience for me.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our fees structure includes college exam fees, computer fees, mark sheet fees, tuition fees, project fees, etc. In our scholarship was provided in covid times but required a lot of documents, IT return files and all. The campus placement is good in our college I got a 3-month internship from campus placement only.

Campus Life

3.5

College fests are of the best thing to have fun, learn and develop ourselves and we had at year-end annually its name was utkarsh 2.0 there many other fests and bring on the different sponsors. The library has various books, magazines that are open for all students can explore different genres of books. the classrooms are big, comfortable benches, and located in a very silent place. We have sports volleyball, football, gymkhana, etc.

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.com is not a very comprehensive and complex degree to complete for someone who wants to pursue his/her career in finance. It can be referred as an initial start or push start for one's finance journey over the years. Also the relevance of B.com in real world is gradually decreasing day by day.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5, you become eligible for final placement and semester 3 for internship placement. many companies like Nykaa, Myntra, Duetsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, Zomato, Beerbiceps and more have visited. the highest package in history is 38 lakh per annum. The average is 8-9 lakh per annum. Around 70% of students get the college placement. My plan is to start my own business after college. I am although doing internships through college. Already done one in Beerbiceps and one in chorus call.

Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
