IIIT Raichur Review

The biggest plus point of the college is low on the crowd because it mainly focuses on the B.Tech program for Computer Science and Engineering and we are guided and taught by the IIT Hyderabad faculty(IIT Hyderabad is one of the top IITs and best engineering institutes of India). The focus of the college for CSE is more as currently the college only provides CSE courses that is why I decided to opt for IIIT Raichur. The seat was allotted to me through the JOSAA counselling and my admission process was simple and without any hassle.

The curriculum of the program follows all the types of industrial rules and regulations. The curriculum is the same as IIT Hyderabad so we are provided with the latest coding technique and knowledge about the computer programming language and computer algorithms. The faculty of the college is without a doubt full of experts as the CSE program is the main focus point of the college so the faculty standards are very high. We are taught by the faculty of IIT Hyderabad and they are among the best.

The placement cell of the college was established last year and we will be taking part in the internship program during this year's summer break. As the placement cell was established they registered the interested participating student details with them so that without wasting any time we could move forward with the internship rounds.

The college is at the moment in the development phase but the college's progress is very good. As we are part of the first batch of the college and we will be taking part in the first-ever placement drive of the college by the end of this year and we were informed that we will be taking part in the placement drive of IIT Hyderabad and our placement will be done through IIT Hyderabad college and we are very excited for it because we all know the level of placement offers of IIT Hyderabad. We are expecting a very good amount of packages as the placement cell has told us that we will go through many training and mock interview before attending the placement drive so we at least ex[etc a minimum of 10 LPA of average salary package as guaranteed by the placement cell of our college.

At the moment college is under development phase and there are no scholarship schemes. The education loan facility is also available. The college complete course fee is around 8 lakh.

After one year in the college, the covid lockdown was announced and most of the time classes were online. The first year of the college was very good every staff was very cooperative and friendly. The online class system of the college was very good the system was very nice and easy to use. This year we visited our campus and the classrooms are very good and spacious.

The hostel is good. The rooms are big and rooms are available on sharing basis. The hostel bathrooms are also very clean and properly sanitized. The mess food is also healthy and good and the food is also cooked in a hygienic environment. 24 hours of water and power supply is available. The hostel security is also good and available 24 hours.
