The best management I have come across. One of the best women's college in the Country. They don't just create graduate but they create the best women to build a better society. I always say this about Stella Maris College, "If I give birth to a daughter, I would be very happy if she becomes an Stella Marian".

The college admission was based on the Higher secondary scores and Personal interview. I had scored more than 75% in my Twelfth Board exams. After the results were announced, application forms were given. Three options were given for choosing the major. As I had a liking towards Botany I chose Plant Biology and Biotechnology as my first choice.

The course curriculum was planned in a very effective and efficient manner. In the first year the course covered all the basic of Botany i.e, Anatomy, Cell Biology, etc. In the second year we had both basic botany courses and Bio-technology related courses as well for example, Microbiology, Bio-Chemistry, etc. In the third year we had proper Biotechnology courses as well as hands on courses.

No. For this course we didn't have any paid internship. The department suggest few labs to work on and later the students would find their suitable Internship organization.

As this course was designed towards research. Many students opted for higher studies. And a good number of students joined the same institute for their Master Studies in the same department. With regard to general placement activities many companies were called for Campus Placement. During 2007-2008 TCS, WIPRO, Emphasis, Landmark and many other companies visited the campus. The salary range for our department was around 12000 - 18000.

Technical fest for each department, Inter college festival, Intra college festival, Sports Festival, Language Clubs, Arts Club Festival and many other such events takes place throughout the year making the college life equally fun filled. The Cultural fest in which many other City college participate is organized in a very grand manner. Top Celebrities are invites for the two day fest.

Except for the Self Financing courses the other course fees are pretty nominal and affordable. And the expense with regard to study materials is also less as the library is well equipped with course books. If the students has a good aggregate, many scholarships are also available.

Many scholarships were provided and the information about the same would be sent to the students then and now. SO that the students can avail those. Mostly Income certificate and a good aggregate were the eligibility criteria for the Scholarships.

There are many clubs inside the college. And during the induction programs orientation to all these clubs are given and the students can chose their club based on the interests. Very active NCC Club and NSS clubs were also available. Apart from these Karate Club, Arts CLub, Dance Clubs, etc are present. The induction for these clubs happens within the first few months of the first semester.

As I was a day's scholar I haven't visited hostel nor tasted the food. But I haven't seen anyone complaining about food or the rooms often. I have seen the hostel premises from outside, though it doesn't look ultra modern. It would definitely look neat and clean.

I am not very active in the alumni network. But the alumni network is pretty active in social media. The students can go and meet the faculty any time. They call in for

The Exam structure is not very hectic. though we have two mid test for internal marks for each semester. But this also just reduces the stress because if we do well in internals we don't need to worry much about semester. Equal weight age is given to practicals and exam in few courses.

Every faculty member of the college is well qualified and the culture of the institute itself is about receiving and spreading knowledge. Most of the faculty were doctorates and they were into research as well along with their teaching responsibilities.
