IIIT Raichur Review

I wanted to opt for computer science and engineering but as per my JEE score, I was not able to meet cutoff marks for the CSE program and one of my friend told me about IIIT Raichur as he also was opting for it. According to my academics and my, JEE was meeting the college cutoff list and in my JOSAA counselling I came to know that the faculty of IIT Hyderabad will teach us as the college is under the mentorship of IIT Hyderabad I was quite excited IIT Hyderabad was one of the top engineering colleges of India. I was able to secure my seat in IIIT Raichur and completed my admission process as the admission process was simple and hassle-free.

The curriculum of the college is very good and the curriculum covers all the basic fundamentals and laws and computer algorithms of coding in terms of computer technology because the curriculum is totally similar to IIT Hyderabad so it is up to the latest industrial norms and guidelines. The faculty of IIT Hyderabad teaches us most of our subjects and their teaching methods are really wonderful they are aware of our mindset do they teach so simply that we are able to understand all the concepts very nicely.

The college has an internship program but we are eligible for internships after completing the three of our programs. But our details are already registered with the college placement committee so that when we are eligible we are provided with good internship options.

The college is new and the placement cell of the college is newly established as per the information provided by the director of the college our seniors will be taking part in the placement drive of IIT Hyderabad. I contacted my seniors for placement packages and I found that they have received good placement offers the packages went up to 15 LAP and the average packages were around 10 LPA.

The college is new and the college is going through the development phase. At present, the college does not have an individual scholarship program, but central and state government scholarship scheme is available. The college complete course fee is around 8 lakh.

The college is operating from the temporary camopus. I visited the campus this year as last year my classes were going online and the online infrastructure was properly built up. This year we got an opportunity to visit the college campus and the classrooms are good and properly ventilated. The college library is also good and the library is the home of many bestsellers authors' books from around the world.

The hostel is very good. The rooms are available on sharing basis. The hostel food quality is good and the hygiene is properly taken care off. The hostel has 24 hours of water and power supply. The hostel wardens are cooperative and the staff is very professional. The hostel decorum is very well maintained. The hostel has all kinds of facilities and amenities as per our comfort.
