Indian Institute of Information Technology Tiruchirappalli Review

According to my JEE and academic score, I was given a seat at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Tiruchirappalli. IIIT Trichy is the college that is under the guidance of NIT Trichy and NIT Trichy is the number 1 engineering college in India in NITs family. B.Tech is the flagship course of the college. I was lucky because I was able to secure the seat for the ECE program as it was my area of interest.

The curriculum of the college is very interactive and it follows all the latest industrial norms and international standards. The curriculum was a proper blend of theoretical and practical knowledge. The curriculum helps us to understand the importance of management activity with the engineering concepts. The faculty of the college is highly experienced and they are the ones that help us to understand all the basic points of Engineering. The faculty is highly qualified and they are of PhD standards.

The college provides really very good options for internships. We are eligible for the internship after completing the three years of our program. the internship is a very good opportunity for us to include professional experience into our resume for placement. the average stipend for the internship was 45k.

The college is very good in terms of placement and the college is able to reach the record of 90-95% placement why up to 95% because a few of my batchmates opted out for placement for higher studies. The college placement committee is very professional and they are properly aware of our domain and interest. The committee fully helps us and guides us during placement. The highest salary package was around 20 LPA and the average salary package was around 11 LPA.

Presently the college does not have any scholarship schemes. The college complete course fee is around 6 lakh but the college provides very good placement as the average salary package is around 11 lakh and the highest package is around 20 lakh and more 75% receive packages offer more 15 lakh means the college provides a very good return on investment.

The college campus life is very simple and friendly. The college provides a very good environment for studies. As we are from B.Tech and our most of the time is indulge in projects and research work activities. The college library is the house of many national and international bestsellers books. The college labs are very modern and there are all types of tools that are very helpful during the time of our project work.

The hostel has good facilities and the wardens and the hostel staff are professional and they maintain the hostel decorum very well. The hostel mess food quality is very good the menu is very vast. The hostel rooms are cleaned on daily basis and bathrooms are also kept clean. The hostel has 24 hours of power and water supply. The hostel campus also has a volleyball court, basketball court.
