Remarks

The college VSSUT is known to be a top tier college for engineering. I was admitted through GATE after first applying offline and then registering online at the time of registration. Candidates are shortlisted based on their merit, then counselling is set, and I was admitted.

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to earn a master's degree, so I applied to this college. I believe that students who wish to pursue a career in engineering should apply for the master's degree in computer science. It anyhow also depends on a person's choice, I was always a CSE student. Teachers are extremely kind and friendly, teaching values and relevant things that benefit students, professors are very helpful, and some faculties are quite good with their knowledge in their dreams. The faculties, in my opinion, are quite good.

Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Placement Experience

UG students have a better chance of getting a job. However, if you are a postgraduate student, your chances are slim... and the companies that come are mostly Infosys and Accenture. Wipro, LnT, Mahindra, TCS, and so on.

Fees and Financial Aid

Master's degrees cost roughly 45,000 each year. The college does not pay a stipend to GATE qualifying students; instead, the aicte provides a stipend to GATE eligible students. A limited number of non-gate students receive a stipend from the college.

Campus Life

They're actually rather good. College provides an excellent platform for those who are truly interested in these disciplines. In college, labs are held on a regular basis, and advanced tools are available.

Our college is providing many placement opportunities and internship opportunities. We are eligible for internship from 1st semister onwards and Full time placements after completion of 1st year. Many companies like ADI, Samsung, Nvidia, Intel, Google, Apple, Ola, Mediatech,etc,.... will visit our college every year. almost 90% of students are getting placements every year. I want to join in a core company after completion of M.Tech.

I have applied to only Outr(formerly Cet Bhubaneswar). I have applied on the technical branches, but got none of them as my rank was around 152000. As Cet is not very good for its core branches, so I preferred Vssut over it. To get technical branches in cet bhubaneswar your rank should be under 50000 in Jee mains.
