Remarks

The closing rank of our college should be a little bit lower in Wbjee and in 2021 our cutoff for CSE goes to 6000 ranks in Wbjee .and yes there is no reservations benefit in our college admission is done by only on the basis of GMR rank

Course Curriculum Overview

We have a lot of internal exams but they were not too tough to pass and that test carries no marks for the final semester exam. And we have to maintain 75 percent attendence criteria strictly to appear in the final semister exam

Internships Opportunities

Our college provides good internships but most of them are startups and they get stipends somewhere between 6000-15000 per month. Still don't know about the projects and outcomes of the project which are done but our seniors or our college students.

Placement Experience

From 8th sem students become eligible for campus placements. mostly TCS, cognizant, Infosys, IBM, Asian paints hire students from our college highest package are around 20lpa and the average is around 5.5lpa. more than 90 percent student got placed. I will go for a master's after getting this degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Still, I don't get any scholarship or job in our college but then you can apply for a student credit card except this there is no financial assistance provided by the College but in the 3rd yr College provides internships.

Campus Life

There are a lot of clubs 2 coding clubs one manab racingclub for car racing and we have departmental libraries for every department and we have a great central library named Aryabhatta There are a lot of sports and extracurricular activities going on in our college.

Hostel Facilities

Our college provides hostel facilities but hostel conditions are at a moderate level but most of the students go for rented rooms you can easily get rented rooms. Khudiram Nagar is the best place to take rented rooms.

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

I choose haldia institute of technology as it offers a good balanced between affordability infrastructure reputation and academic quality espicially for btech conputer science. HIT is the oldest private engineering college in west bengal with nice nirf ranking with huge campus of 50 acres and well maintained Hostels for boys and girls Average 4-5 lakh placements TCS infosys wipro I have aimed for jadhavpur and IEM kolkata but couldn't make it due to wbjee rank just below cut off some private college were out of my budget like amity and kiit The admission process is smoot and take students through wbjee counseling then seat allotment after this documents verification then admission...Read More

HIT, Haldia Better then Government Colleges of West Bnegal

I have got some government colleges but the placements were worse in those and this college has a huge number placements you know.. for addmission in this college 80 percent are from WBJEE 10 percent from JEE mains and 10 percent from management Quota. The addmission process is quite smooth just fill addmission form they will verify then pay the semester fee and your addmission is done ? verification step is most important there during addmission. I applied to this particular college because of the low expense and it being near to my state, it takes 6 hours to get there which is why I chose to stay at hostel. Good facilities are available, you will not have problem navigating the area however be careful of your surroundings.
