Entrance Preview

Due to some personal issue I dropped out my college. It 4 years gap. I want to complete my graduation while working alone. After much survey, I found it the best option. I doesnt need any entrance, no age limit, best flexiblity of choosing subjects according to your interest and comfort. I choosed B. sc because firstly ofcourse bcz i would graduated, secondly I would be open to mutiple field which is limited in case of B. A, B. com, BBA, BCA. 4 years gap then again limition. Thats the only point sounded at that very instance of time. So I choosed B. sc.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Well the course structure was above satisfactory. I opted for English medium (University provides facility to study in English or Hindi Medium according to your comfort zone). Sometimes I found study material provided quite confusing in terms of language. Worst part during my course duration, we dont found any proper assistance. But when I visited last time for collecting my documents I found improvement. Classes & Lab schedule, Libarary etc. I heard from some friend as well that now the are doing pretty well.

Placement Experience

2.5

Once I was called for placement. (There may be more. )That time hirings for Zenpect was going on. They were offering 12k-15k. Well after completion of course you are eligible for all jobs which needs graduation, only differences occur. Highly qualified HR who only consider top School students suitable for job. They even wont consider you for interview. They will mention clearly in JD- Only candidate only from Top B- School. Never mind. its there differences of mind.

College Events

0.5

Well only one I attended was Teacher's Day in last year of college. But our alumina was quite bigger one.

Placement Experience:

Gargi, like most other delhi colleges, has a standard placement cell. Students become eligible for placements from the 5th semester onwards, but most requirements happen during the final year. The companies that visit are primarily ed tech based ventures or marketing, HR firms and sales firms. A few that have collaborated over the year has been EY, Decathlon, Urban Company, Deloitte and so on. in terms of packages, the highest that had been around 15-17lpa, and the average package is 4-5lpa. About 20-30% of the batch gets placed during placement interviews while many try to pursue other opportunities or off-campus venues.

as the everyone know for computer science b tech is the best course but there is to much rush for b tech and i dont want to waste my college life or campus life on engenerring degree which dont give me placements thats why i choose for bsc hons cs in du to enjoy the campus life. if you study well in this course it will definately help vo in job interview making your resume good and skills better. the teaching method should be more practical than doing on notebooks or oraly. the datesheet and timings of exams are preety good and the difficulty of exam are moderate the ones who prepares will definately score good marks and can maintain better cgpa.

Placement Experience:

One can easily view the placement statistics of our college on their website. The placement cell of the college manages the placement process. On first glance, it appears impressive. But most of the placements are in similar fields of commerce like consulting or finance, followed by Arts and Science courses getting the least amount of placements. I personally have no faith in my course getting me any placement. So I'm preparing for government exams anyways.
