Entrance Preview

I scored in 12th- 83.6% i have completed my college from delhi university in DU there is no entrance exam only.We have to fill the form n we get the cut off list from the cut off we get the college this is the only college providing me bcom (h) with my percentange otherwise i m getting bcom pass in some gud colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course was awesum as its the course it helps me in doing MBA as well in research perspective, its quite helpful as it deals with observation of question of interest data needs to be collected to understand n analyse the situation. There are 2 variables cause effect a casual study is helpful in comparing the effects of cause n effect relationship n a key component is that we need to decide a research design.

Internships Opportunities

My college provide limited internship offers to students stipend will be 12000 per month so its not good enough for a student companies.

Placement Experience

No future in placement and jobs in my college otherwise many big companies come to north campus in top 10 colleges.

College Events

Diwali holi college fest farewell freshers party frequent trips to goa ,vaishno deviDebates, painting, dancing competition, singing competition Rain dance party day trips Band of boys were invited to college fest and indian idols people are also invited to sing in college for the enjoyment of students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very cheap its about 6000 per annum so anybody can afford it so its good fr all students to study in delhi university n its not at all expensive unlike in SRCC. The fee is 11000 which is higher because we need to pay it all together, there is no installment system fr fee structure.

Exam Structure

Exams are a part and parcel of college life we do have test, assignments and internals they are fine but not very depressing. But need to score good in exams to get admission in post graduation some exams are tough and some are simple but they keep giving pressure also at times.

Faculty

Faculty of the college was fine some professors are extremely good n some dnt have any knowledge abt the course some professors carry a detailed study of the subject n some are least bothered and i will rate the faculty 3 out of 5 which is fine professor need to focus on lectures rather than assignments.

Greatest faculties are at Gargi!!

Placement Experience:

Placements cell has been praised by me beforehand. They manage our CVs and our training program too. So, shouldn't be questioning them on that front at all. Research Equity analyst, economic guider and all are some of the roles that are offered to us. Let, me also clear than B.Com where placements are slim, we get placements worth 5-7 lakhs.

Gargi College defines greatness!

Placement Experience:

JP Morgan to Indusind Bank, companies related to finance are the ones that gives placements to Gargi students. Highest package thus far for B.Com was of 24 lakhs offered by PWD and average though is 5-6 lakhs which is kind of not good.

Incredible Experience of DU.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed, because of my interest in doing business. I also wanted to have some corporate experience. The academics help in really well to understand the real world about commerce and economics and their also cities related to commerce field which are very helpful to learn new things. Some teachers May change their way or teaching by interactive more with the students. Exams are really good and difficult for the students and its not that easy to pass the exams.

LIFE OF DELHI UNIVERSITY

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I am pursuing bcom honours and all the subjects and book recommendations, book knowledge are appropriate and up to the mark . I think everything we study in this couse and everything we should study is covered well and the teachers also take a lot of interest in making us understand every topic . And the frequency of time and course completion is pretty good , we get enough time to prepare.

Gari College has given endless memories!!

Placement Experience:

B.Com has the second placements at our college after B.Com Hons and must say, all the companies needs economics reforms and this is where we can serve. Financial analyst to credit appraiser we have everything taught and therefore the banks and the large conglomerate signs us at an average package of 6 lakhs a year.

Bursting the bubble

I applied to almost all colleges offering the course that i have chosen, i got confirmed admissions in majority of them, however I chose this college because of it's location, unique exposure and the faculty. However, some of the colleges I applied to rejected me too, as this course is highly competitive and very few colleges offer this course, I acknowledge that I am not the best and hence I lost my spot in those colleges. The admission process : - Sit for the cuet exam - Portal opens for admission to all du colleges after one or two months, register there. - Admission happens in three phases through the portal ? registration, making and submission of the preference list (course wise and college wise) and lastly the allotment. Interest in Business and Economics and getting a DU Degree is the only reason to go here in 2025.

There are only 10 colleges offering BBE in Delhi University. So, therefore, the course is high in demand. It is a professional course so the college is still in the process of adapting to a professional setting. I applied for all other colleges offering BBE in DU, and got admitted here via the Common University Entrance Exam (CUET). My preference was to go to Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce to pursue this same course, but the cutoff for the same is very high.
